Draco's P.O.V

"Expecto Patronum!" I cried hastily.

Nothing happened.

The Dementor descended on me and began to suck my soul out.

I focused for a second. I frantically searched my mind for the very few happy memories that I had.

My happy memory filled me up with joy. I suddenly felt powerful and strong and confident. I was ready.

"Expecto Patronum!" I shouted, much louder than the last time.

Bright white light exploded from my wand. My whole body was shaking continuously with anxiety, happiness and fear all blended into one.

The light hit the dementors, knocking them backwards, out of the cellar, hopefully never to return.

It took me a moment for my eyes to adjust to the cellar which was now beginning to get dark once more.

Yet in the middle of the room, something white and beautiful had formed.

It was my patronus.

It was the patronus I had never imagined being able to form. I had finally done it and I stared in awe at my spirit animal.

It was a Doe.

It looked beautiful and it elegantly pranced around the room,  illuminating it.

I had never expected to be able to conjure a Patrnous. And I had finally done it.

The Doe wandered over to the place where I was sat, and encouraged me to get up.

My parents couldn't conjure a patronus. I didn't know many people who could.
I had known that Harry had taught most of his friends how to conjure one. In a way, that had made me even more desperate to be able to do it myself.

The Doe was glowing so brightly that it hurt my eyes. I suspected that it wasn't meant to be this bright. Nevertheless, I embraced its presence.

In an attempt to escape, I shot a few spells at the door and wall.

I heard a crack from the door, but not much else happened. Frustratingly, some spells rebounded off the grimy walls.

Suddenly, the Doe sped up and charged at the stone wall.

To my surprise, the wall broke and the slabs of stone collapsed, causing the floor to shake for a moment.

Immediately, I leaped through the hole in the wall and found myself in a tiny corridor. There was a door at the end of it which was fortunately open.

I followed my doe through the door and found myself in the open.
I was in the arena.
Internally I sighed yet I continued walking.

Once the Doe had appeared in daylight, it disappeared as if if were only a memory of mine. The air shimmered where the Doe had vanished. In my head I silently thanked it, as if it knew my thoughts. I had no idea how it did what it did, but that was not my biggest problem on my mind right now.

Still in shock, I wandered around, looking for Hermione.

I searched around to see any sign of a building or cellar or anything in which Hermione or one of the others were trapped in.

"Hermione!" I called for the sixth time, starting to lose hope.

A few minutes later, a dishevelled-looking Hermione came running towards me, leaping over bushes hurriedly.  Her hair were a tangled wreck, and she evidently had bloody cuts on her fingers.
