Harry's P.O.V
Draco and I stood there, rooted to the spot with fear. We watched Umbridge as she potentially made the biggest mistake of her life.
Her fingers hovered over the button dangerously. The very button that could take all of our lives almost instantly.
Suddenly, we heard a crash behind us and I heard a familiar voice scream in what seemed to be delight mixed with horror. Draco and I spun around to face the person immediately.
It was Hermione.
Before Umbridge had any time to react, Hermione yelled "Petrificus Totalus!", causing Umbridge to freeze and fall to the floor with a thud.
I looked around in shock and relief to see the others standing beside Hermione.
I could see Ron and The Minister for magic. I saw Ministry officials and journalists who were eagerly taking pictures with their cameras. They looked relieved and triumphant.
I hardly had a chance to see anything else before Hermione captured me in a bone-crushing hug.
She then turned to Draco who awkwardly stood there. Hermione quickly hugged him and broke apart from him.
"I'm so glad you're here. You did it." I beamed.
"Harry's hurt." Draco said immediately. It didn't seem to be the best thing that you could say immediately after being rescued, yet I was glad that he cared so much for me.
Hermione looked at me closely and gasped in understanding.
After that, the room was full of greetings and reunions and questions and camera flashes.
A few workers from the Ministry scooped Umbridge off the floor and escorted her out of the building unglamorously.
I followed everyone outside, my hand in Draco's, and I sighed with relief and many other emotions, packed into one.
The rest of the day seemed to be a blur. Everything went quite swiftly and hurriedly. Personally, I was just glad that it was all over.
I found myself waking up in a hospital bed. I vaguely remembered leaving the arena, meanwhile Hermione and Ron demanded that Draco and I be taken to a hospital.
I had begun to protest, when suddenly, Hermione knocked me out with a lazy flick of her wand.
I sat upright in bed, grinning at the memory. I felt much better and lighter.
However, this hospital was not the familiar Hospital wing in Hogwarts. It was somewhere else.
I looked around and I sighed with relief, as I spotted Draco in the bed next to mine, sleeping soundly.
I began to get out of bed, when Hermione and the Ministry for Magic suddenly entered the room.
"We're in St Mungo's hospital for magical maladies and injuries." The Minister said helpfully, as if he had read my mind.
"There was no need to bring me to St Mungo's." I sighed.
I had known that the ministry seemed worried for my welfare, yet my injuries could have easily been fixed by Madam Pomfrey.I turned my head as I saw Draco awakening. His hair was ruffled and messy, and my heart yearned to be next to him.
He seemed a bit shocked by his surroundings, especially when the Minister was glaring at him as if he were a rare species of unicorn.
"I told them about the bond. I thought it was something serious, so we brought you here. It's not been that long. You've both woken up earlier than I'd expected." Hermione explained.
