The trio had gathered all of their supplies yesterday at Diagon Alley. Most of the shops there were still closed after the war but they would gradually reopen soon. Hermione had finally managed to convince Ron to join them at Hogwarts. After a few hours of complaining, Ron agreed.
Ron, Harry and Hermione headed to the train station along with the Weasley's. Ginny was also coming as she was beginning her 7th year. Hermione's parents trailed behind and they embraced her as she walked through the wall onto the platform. The trio said their goodbyes and hopped onto the train together. They heard quite a few cheers as they arrived on the train.
They found a compartment to themselves and sat down. They talked a lot and relaxed. They then quickly put on their robes as they were close to arriving at Hogwarts.
There were not many people from their year. The trio had skipped the whole year hunting horcruxes and the other students had gone through with their final year at Hogwarts. However, in the heat of war, not much proper education had gone on. So quite a few people had decided to return, to do their final year properly, yet some people had no bothered.
Ron had been looking around and spotted that Neville, Seamus, Hannah, Luna, Draco and a few others had also returned.
Hermione had taken quite a few classes, yet Ron and Harry had not taken that many.
Just then, the trolley witch arrived with her usual selection of sweeties.
