I walk through the hall and spot Carlos. He's a jerk. He slams his locker shut and turns around, freezing when he sees me, but quickly looks away and stomps off. What's his deal? He's mad at me now?
I see Jordon and- screw me for this- I walk over to him, willingly, by choice.
"You." I say and he looks down at me.
"You." He says back.
"So... Umm... what's up with Carlos?" I ask awkwardly.
"You pissed him off." He shrugs.
"I pissed him off? He's the one who's constantly bothering me."
"Well I don't think you have to worry about that anymore." He smirks, stopping at his locker and twisting the lock.
"Why?"
"Cause he doesn't like you right now." His smile grows.
"W-why?" I narrow my eyes.
"Cuz you pissed him off. You made him upset." I roll my eyes. Why doesn't he tell me why I pissed him off?
"What did I do?"
"I don't know. He didn't say. He just went up to me and the guys and said, Sadie's a bitch, and stomped off." He shrugs. What the fuck did I do?
"Carlos." I sigh, walking over to him in the cafeteria. He looks at me with a very cruel glare. That's new. "What's your deal?" I ask him, having had enough with his drama.
"What's my deal?" He stands up and looks down at me. "Really, Sadie? You're asking me what my deal is? It's you!"
"What did I do?" I frown angrily.
"You just... you're a jerk to everyone. That's all you do! I can't deal with it anymore!"
"No one ever said you had to deal with it." I cross my arms.
"Yeah, I wish I would've known that before-" He stops himself.
"Before what?" I narrow my eyes.
"Nothing. Just... why are you even talking to me? I thought you hated me."
"I do." I roll my eyes.
"Then why are you talking to me?" Good point.
"I don't know."
"Well why don't you just leave me alone?" He shoves me back and I raise a brow at him. He just pushed me. He. Just. Pushed. Me.
"Did you just push me?" I ask and he hesitates before clenching his fists.
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"Because I don't want to be near you right now. Go away."
"So you push me." I grit my teeth.
"Yes. That's what you would do. See? It's annoying, isn't it?" I roll my eyes.
"I don't care."
"So I've noticed." I push him back. He looks at me and his eyes harden. He pushes me back, so I push him back again.
People circle around us and chant, "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"I think they want us to fight." I point out the obvious.
"Yeah." He shrugs. I swing at him and surprisingly he ducks.
"Really?" He asks as he comes back up.
"Come on mr bad boy, fight me." I say and start circling him. I really need to blow off some steam right now. What's a better way to blow off steam than fighting someone? Especially fighting the person who upset you.
