"What?" I ask the spider. Yes, I'm still talking to the spider from two days ago. "I was seven, okay. My dad was a gang leader. I just wanted the Doritos." I say in defence. "Don't look at me like that. Haven't you ever wanted something so bad that you got a bat and whacked someone on the head with it so they wouldn't see you steal it?" The spider just sits there on my knee. "Ok, you're right. I did kind of just use the bat to make it a little more fun but you have to admit, that's pretty impressive for a seven year old." I smirk proudly.

I hear footsteps but I ignore it because I'm talking with my new friend. My new friend has my undivided attention.

"Do you know what day it is?" I ask the spider, suddenly really wanting to know what day it is and how long I've been down here.

"Sunday." I hear. My head snaps to the spider and I grin.

"I knew you could talk." I sigh in relief. "So now that you've come out of the closet you can tell me your name." I say and giggle. "I know what 'come out of the closet' means. I just had to say it to see if you would notice." I smile. "So what's your name?" I ask again.

"Who are you talking to?" He asks.

"You, silly." I chuckle. "Hey, you wanna be my new grandpa?" I ask. "No, I'm just kidding." I laugh. "I think they drugged me. I feel so weird and I feel like I'm acting different, too. What about you? Did anyone drug you?" He doesn't say anything. "That's cool." I nod.

Someone clears their throat. I look up and see a guy in a black hoodie with the hood over his face, standing in front of me. I roll my eyes.

"Excuse me, you're interrupting my conversation with-" I stop and look at the spider. "What's your name?" I look back up at the guy. "With Ducky. Now if you'll leave me and Ducky alone so we can finish our conversation that would be very appreciated." I say and imagine myself crossing my arms, but sadly I can't because my hands are tied to a pole behind my back. I think. Actually I don't know because I can't feel them, or see them.

"Alright." The guy chuckles. I like that chuckle. It makes me laugh.

He walks behind me and unties my hands. Oh, so my arms were tied behind my back. I thought so. The man steps in front of me and holds out his hand so I hesitantly take it. Why did I do that? He pulls me up to my feet and starts walking.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"Somewhere." The deep voice replies. Something's off about this guy. I can't put my finger on it but I know something's not right here.

"Where's Jay?"

"Jay?" He asks.

"Yeah. He's your boss. How do you not know your own boss?" I roll my eyes. Yeah, something's definitely off about him.

"Oh, umm... he told me to get you."

"Oh." I nod my head, then a realization hits me. "Are you guys going to kill me today?" I ask urgently, looking at him but he doesn't look at me. His grip on my hand gets tighter.

"Yes." He answers slowly, as if he's unsure.

Should I fight back? Carlos. I should fight back for Carlos. So I can see Carlos again.

I stop walking and yank my hand out of his, then roundhouse kick his legs sending him to the floor.

"What are you doing?" He asks in a high, shocked voice.

"You can't kill me that easily." I mutter. I jump onto him, slap his face, and bring my fist back to punch him but he grabs my fist and stops me.

"Sadie." He says. I get my hand free and start slapping him repeatedly, enjoying the tingling feeling in my hand. You know, it's the feeling you get when you slap someone, the feeling you get when you're successfully harming someone.
