[Dusk till dawn- Zane Malik]
Adam pulls me behind him into the gang house. He put me on a child leash! I do not like this!
"Why do I have to be on a leash?" I grumble.
"So I don't loose you."
"You already have." I mumble but I don't think he heard me because he didn't look or say anything.
We walk into my office room and I sit at my desk. "Now what?" I sigh looking at him.
"I don't know. Work." He shrugs.
I hear a knock on the door but I don't bring my head up off my arms. I'm tired. I've been doing gang work for five hours. Adams still here, just sitting in a chair doing something on his phone. There's another knock on the door and I slightly look up at Adam. He has headphones in. I take a pencil and chuck it at him which grabs his attention. "Ow!" He shouts, taking off his headphones. I nod to the door and he looks at it before sighing and walking to it and opening as I lay my head back down.
"Uh, hi." Adam says. I hear a door shut and then there's silence. Finally, some alone time.
Hands clasp onto my shoulders before massaging them. I tense. What is Adam doing?
"What are you doing?" I mumble but he doesn't answer. "Please stop." He slows his hands but doesn't stop. It feels nice. "You can stop now." He doesn't. "Adam, stop." He still doesn't. "If I wanted someone to massage my shoulders then I would say. But I didn't so I don't want anyone massaging my shoulders." I growl, then sigh.
"I'm tired." I groan. "Can you take me home?" No response. "Why aren't you saying anything?" I ask before lifting my head and look behind me, then freeze.
I stupidly fall out of the chair and crawl to the door. "Adam!" I scream. "Adam there's a person in here!" I yell. "Sadie." Carlos says. I jump up and open the door to see Adam and my dad. "This person broke in. Do you want me to kill him?" I ask. "No." Dad says. "He's here to help you get back to normal." Adam says and pulls the door shut.
"Sadie." I glance at Carlos but quickly look away as he walks over to me. "Hey." He says.
"Go away." I cross my arms and look at the floor.
"No." He shakes his head.
"You don't have to be here. I can let you out."
"I don't want to leave."
"You don't have to listen to them."
"It's okay."
"No. I don't want you here. So go home."
"No."
"Just go home. I don't need you here. I know you don't want to be here so just go."
"I do want to be here."
"Don't lie. You don't like me. Go back to your girlfriend or whatever."
"Im not. I do. I am."
"What?" I furrow my eyebrows confused. What is he talking about? That made no sense. I glare at him.
"Go back to your girlfriend."
"I am with her." He rolls his eyes.
"She's not here. And if she is I'm not kidding, I will kill her."
"No. Not Clara."
"Oh, you got a new girlfriend?" I roll my eyes. "How many girls have you got pregnant?"
"Zero."
"Oh well that's surprising."
"Why?"
"Because of all the girls you fuck. You'd think you got like at least fifty of them pregnant."
"Sadie!" His face grows red. "Well I haven't." He takes a step towards me.
"Look, I'm tired and I want to go home."
"Ok." He shrugs.
"So go away."
"No."
"Yes."
"I'm not leaving."
"Well you need to."
"Why?"
"Because... because if you don't then I'll punch you."
"I'll take my chances." He smirks. I punch his gut and he grunts as he hunches over.
"Next time it'll be a little lower." I mutter in his ear and he looks at me.
"Ugh." He says and stands back up. "Please don't."
He smiles down at me as I just stand there creeped out. "What?" I ask and he chuckles. "What?" I ask raising my voice. He laughs again. "What are you laughing at?!" He bursts into laughter. "What the fuck is so funny?!" I yell.
"You are." He says not laughing anymore but still smiling.
"I didn't do anything."
"Yes you did."
"What?"
"You're just you." He shrugs.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You're funny."
"How?"
"Just because." He takes a big step and now he's standing right in front of me.
"Could you give me some space?" I frown.
"Never." He wraps his arms around my waist.
"You're really annoying, you know that?" I ask and he nods.
"And you're really mean, you know that?" He asks and I nod.
Suddenly his lips smash into mine. I don't move for a minute, too stunned, but then I tilt my head and wrap my arms around his neck. My stomach fills with butterflies as heat rises in my face. He pushes me into the wall and kisses me harder.
We both pull away at the same time and breath. He looks down at me and I look up at him. What was that?
"Why did you do that?" I murmur.
"Because."
"I thought we weren't allowed to do that." He rolls his eyes.
"I'm Carlos Colby. You think I obey rules?" He waits for a response but I don't give him one.
He leans in again as I watch him. "What about Clara?" I blurt. He freezes and looks at me.
"What about her?"
"Isn't this cheating on her?"
"Since when did you care about her?"
"I don't."
"I broke up with her Sadie. You don't have to worry about her." He shakes his head.
"Why did you do that?"
"Because she's a bitch."
"It took you that long to realize that?"
"Why are we still talking?" He whispers before leaning in again, slowly. Gosh he's taking too long. I grab the collar of his shirt, pull him down and stand on my toes and kiss his lips, catching him by surprise. He pulls away.
"I'm so sorry for not doing this last time." He whispers and puts his lips back on mine.
