[Crazy- Gnarls Barkley]
"Come on." Carlos says as he drags me through the gang house. I don't know what we're doing and I don't know why I'm letting him pull me around like a dog.
"Where are we going?" I groan, tired of trying to guess what's going on.
"Somewhere," Carlos replies. I give him a side eye.
"I swear Carlos, if you get us killed I'm going to-"
"You can't do anything at that point because we would both be dead, Sadie." He points out, stopping to look at me. I shit my mouth realizing he's right. He turns back around and keeps pulling me.
"Please tell me where we're going?" I ask politely as he walks me to his car. Even using my manners, he still refused to tell me.
Carlos slows the car down, driving over stones that make a crunching sound, then he parks his car in the grass. Idiot. The grass isn't a parking lot.
"I know that." I look away from the green grass and to him.
"Know what?" I ask confused.
"That the grass isn't the road." Oh, I said that out loud. Whoops. I wonder what else I've said out loud without knowing. I tense. Oh no, there's a lot I could've said. A lot.
"Come on." I look up and realize he's already out of the car. I'm in no hurry to get out and do whatever stupid shit he's planning, so I take my time to get out. Five minutes. Yes, I really took five minutes to get out of the car.
"God Sadie, you take forever." He grumbles once I'm standing beside him outside.
"Yeah ok, so what are we doing?" I cut to the point.
"That." He points down at something. I follow his finger with my eyes to find out we are standing on the edge of a somewhat small waterfall. Maybe about thirty feet high. I slowly look back up at him.
"That's a waterfall." I state and he nods. "We're standing on a cliff." He nods again. "On the very edge of it." I say before coincidentally slipping, but he catches me just in time and pulls me away from the edge. That was close.
"Why are we here?" I ask.
"To jump."
"To jump?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because it's something fun we can do together."
"Oh." I look down at the water.
"Ready?" I look up to see he's taken off his shirt and is about to jump.
Yep." I smirk before taking a few steps back.
"What are you doing?" He asks watching me.
"Jumping." I charge towards the edge.
"Wait no Sadie, we're supposed to jump toge-"
"See ya!" I shout as I jump off and dive down. I splash into the water and gasp when my skin stings from the pressure, which means, since I gasped, I opened my mouth causing me to swallow water. Dammit. Why does this happen to me? I resurface and spit water out, coughing.
"Sadie!" I look up at Carlos who's on the edge of the cliff. "Are you okay?!" He shouts.
"Yeah!" I shout back.
"Cool! Ok I'm gonna jump now!" My eyes widen as I realize that if he jumps then he'll land on top of me. I quickly swim to another spot and watch him. He jumps, doing a double flip in the air before coming down and making a huge splash beside me. Why did that remind me of cereal being powered into a bowl of milk?
