4 months later..

After posting this I got so many likes and congrats.

I am 6 months pregnant today and beyond happy. Not everything in my life has been good but I'm over that. I am pregnant with my second child and I'm beyond excited. Today is our small gender reveal, he invited all his boys and parents then I just invited my people from the salon because my parents don't fuck with me.

Everything was all set up at our house and Harlem was bouncing around, estatic thinking about his future sibling. Hakeem said "it's obvious what side you're on."

I said "duhhh, I can't wait to get my lil princess."

He bent down and gave a me a kiss. He said "I love you."

I smiled a little and said "I love you too."

He said "come on let's eat."

As we sat down to eat Ahmad, Hakeem's brother/sort of best friend came over, he said "hey y'all how's my god baby doing?"

I said "good."

Then he whispered something into Keem ear and I was just chilling eating. Eventually when they stopped talking I was just about half way done my food. I said "is everything ok?"

He nodded and said "yeah he was just telling me bout some nut shit that happened."

I said "oh ok."

About 20 minutes later, we got ready. Ahmad came out with his new girlfriend, aka my new bestie, Kameron. They both introduced themselves as the hosts and said "let's get this thing started.."

Kameron said "if you team girl come on this side with me."

Ahmad said "team boy come over here.."

Harlem ran to Keem side because he wants a baby brother. We played a few games on our gendered guessing teams then they brought out this big box. We opened up the box and there was another box inside, then another, then another, then another, until I looked at them and said "y'all play too much."

Then when Hakeem finally opened the last box he got down on one knee and said "will you marry me Hazel?"

I smiled so big nodding saying "yes, yes, yes of course."

He got up while sliding the ring on my finger and gave me a kiss. When we both turned they had a little sign that was lighten up.
