Richie
Dustin lead them into an attic that was beside his house. In it, there were two sofas and boxes full of his old toys.
Once he lead them inside, Dustin clapped his hands. "Right, you guys must be pretty hungry. So stay here if you guys stay here then I'll get you something to eat."
The boy raced up the stairs and Richie flopped down onto one of the sofas. Exhaustion began to dawn on him, but he stubbornly kept his eyes open. That was when Eddie sat next to him and a burst of adrenaline jolted him awake.
Richie looked at him and the feeling of butterflies and giddiness began to fill him again. He studied his friends large, brown eyes and realised how cute he thought they were. A sudden urge of wanting to hug and kiss his friend overwhelmed him. A thought cut through these feelings though:
What the fuck is wrong with me? Why am I experiencing these feelings towards one of my best friends?
Before he could figure out an answer, Dustin ran back into the room. He was cradling boxes of eggos and Reese's peanut butter cups.
"Not the healthiest, but it'll have to do for now," Dustin muttered under his breath.
Bill flashed a friendly smile at him. "Th-Thanks D-Dustin. Thi-Thi-This is really sweet of you."
"It's no problem, really," Dustin replied. Suddenly he tripped and smacked into the floor.
They rushed to help their new friend up. He flashed them all a goofy smile. "I'm okay," He said. "I just tripped on my shoelaces."
"Jeez, watch where you're going next time klutz," Richie grinned cheekily. As he bent over to help Dustin up, his glasses slid off the bridge of his nose and clattered to the floor.
Dustin picked Richie's glasses up and handed them to him, "Watch your glasses then, Richie," He retorted.
His grin on his face dropped as he facepalmed himself, "Shit! I forgot to get you guys drinks. I'll be back again."
Dustin dashed up the stairs, leaving the group to themselves again.
Richie grabbed a pack of Reese's peanut butter cups and tore it open. He handed Eddie the first cup and began to eat the second. The sweetness of chocolate and thick peanut butter filled his mouth. He looked up to see his friend staring at him. Eddie looked away in a flash, beginning to blush furiously.
Richie grinned cheekily at him, "Like what you see, Eds?"
"Shut up, Richie," Eddie snapped shyly, his blush growing bigger.
"I'll take that as a yes," Richie chuckled.
Eddie shot him the finger before digging into his piece of the candy.
Dustin came back with dust littering his clothes and bottles of water. "Don't worry about the dust, my cat Mews was just greeting me. Wait a sec."
Dustin put the bottles of water onto the ground and began to pat at his shirt. "Just dustin' my shirt off," He grinned goofily.
They all chuckled at his pun and took a bottle each. Richie took a sip of his water and didn't realise how thirsty he was until the water began to run down his throat. He chugged the whole bottle down within a minute, quenching his thirst.
"Holy shit," Dustin said in astonishment, looking at Richie. "Want me to get you another one?"
"Yes please," He managed, getting his breath back.
"Alright, I'll get Richie another drink and then I'll set up a place for you guys to sleep." Dustin announced, running up the stairs a third time.
