Richie

After long, strenuous attempts at contacting Mike accompanied by head-splitting aches in his temples, Richie was finally successful. He only did it because Bill thought that all of them would be safer and more likely to find Will if they all stuck together. The two boys argued and argued until Mike finally agreed to meet all of them outside of the woods.

The closer Richie got to the destination, the more the smell of pine and grass grew stronger. He couldn't help but notice how dense the trees were, making the whole area darker and creating a sensation of caution in the process. He was surprised he hadn't noticed this before, considering how the forest near the Barrens back in Derry was completely opposite in that it was vibrant and filled with life.

Mike greeted them with a scowl as he held onto the straps of his backpack. Richie saw bits of pine in his hair and saw it as an opportunity to try and ease the tension that had begun to boil.

"Ay, Mike," Richie decided to switch up his accents this time by going for an Australian one that was almost as terrible as the British one. "Whatcha got all that pine in your hair for? Been tumbling around in the grass with Eleven?" He wiggled his eyebrows at him.

Bill sighed, a clear tone of annoyance in his voice, "Sh-Shut up, Richie."

Eddie seemed to agree with Bill as well, cause he gave Richie a light punch in the shoulder. Richie stuck his tongue out at Eddie who replied with the finger.

He took it as an opportunity to hook his arm around Eddie's shoulder and ruffle his hair. "Geez, you and Bill need to learn to take a joke," he commented defensively with a tone of cheekiness.

Eddie snapped as he released himself from Richie's grip, "Or you just need to learn to shut the fuck up."

Richie pinched his cheek, feeling it heat up between his fingers, "You're so cute when you're mad, Eds."

Before Eddie could reply, Bill interrupted by asking, "Where's Eleven?"

"She ran off after I punched Dustin in the face. I thought she might have gone back with you guys." Mike said solemnly.

Dustin swore at this, "We've gotta find her, where do you think she might have gone?"

"I want to try and see if we can find her in the wood-" Mike suggested before being cut off.

Richie didn't hear the rest of the sentence because the next thing he knew, there was an ear-splitting pain in his skull as he felt himself uncontrollably beginning to fall to the floor. The last thing he heard was the others screaming his name. The one that was the loudest though, was Eddie's.
