3rd person P.O.V
AJ couldn't stop thinking about Jimmy ever since he walked through that door. He felt bad for not telling Jimmy of his engagement earlier, for letting him find out this way, but he absolutely hated himself for denouncing him after he confessed his feelings to him.
"AJ...hello?" Samatha waved her hands in front of AJ's face, breaking him from his thoughts.
"Hmmm?...oh sorry."
"What's wong? You've been a bit off." Samantha had now stopped unpacking and turned her attention to her distracted fiance.
"I'm fine. You were saying?"
"Oh I was just telling you how my mother can't wait to see you again! She was hoping you'd come with me next time I visit them."
"Great." AJ said absent-mindedly.
"Are you sure you're...okay?" AJ snapped his head to Samantha's direction after realising he'd drifted off again. Without a word he grabbed his jacket and headed for the door. "Where are you going?"
"I just remembered I have to be somewhere."
"But babe I just got here and you're leaving?" AJ only answered with a sigh and banged the door behind him. He didn't care about how Samantha felt or his parents at that moment. He just knew he had to make things right.

"Okay I'm coming! Goodness you gonna break down my door." Jimmy warned as he hurriedly went down the stairs to open the door. When he saw who it was he tried to close the door again but failed due to the power advantage the man on the other side had. "What the hell do you want?!"
"I just want to explain everything."
"And I don't wanna hear it so get out before I call the police! You're trespassing."
"Gosh why are you being so dramatic?!" AJ said flailing his hands in the air.
"Adam just get ou--" Jimmy couldn't complete his sentence as AJ's lips came crashing on his. Jimmy felt his body freeze at the sudden action by the brunette. He found himself responding to the kiss before coming back to his senses and wordlessly pushed AJ away.
"Now are you gonna listen to me?" Jimmy couldn't argue anymore. It felt like the stolen kiss stripped him off his confident front.
"You have one minute." Jimmy said softly but firm.
"Thanks."
"40 seconds"
"Ok wait...I want to be with you okay. I know after everything that's hard to believe but it's true."
"But you're getting married. You're in love with someone else...you always are." Jimmy muttered the last part softly but loud enough for AJ to hear.
"No! That's not true. I don't love her okay. The whole thing is arranged." AJ wasn't surprised when Jimmy seemed unaffected by his assurance. He knew it was a very stupid thing to say at that moment because his controlling parents would do just about anything to keep his relationship with Samantha afloat, and Jimmy knew that very well too.
"I can't believe it's the same problems all over again." Despair was audible in Jimmy's words and AJ couldn't stand seeing him like that knowing he is the cause of Jimmy's heartbreak.
