It's been a long day of work and to say he's tired would be an understatement. Jimmy opens his locker with a sigh, grateful that this day is over, until his colleague and friend enters the room looking flustered.

"Hey Lisa. What's up?" Jimmy asks with a concerned expression as he closes his locker.

"Sorry to bother you but table number 3 wants to be served by you."

"Tell them my shift is over." Jimmy gets back to packing. He thought it was very important judging by her flustered state.

"Don't you think I haven't tried that! He specifically asked for you. And that man is kinda scary so I'm not going back out there without you."

"Okay calm down. I'll go." Jimmy raises his hands as if surrendering.

"Yey! That's why I love you." And with that she skips out of the room. Jimmy mentally laughs at that but his mood quickly changes as curiosity engulfs him. 'Why me?' He shrugs it off though when he thinks it might be because he's such a lovable person. That's why they hired him after all.

He makes his way to Table 3 with a note pad, a pen and a toothless smile. "What may I get you this evening sir?"

The man's eyes leave his phone to look at Jimmy with a very unreadable expression on his face. He glances at Jimmy's name tag and he leans back on his chair, his thumb brushing his chin as if deep in thought. Jimmy's smile falters as he can't fathom the man's reaction.

"Uh is everything alright sir?" Jimmy says slowly, careful not to say anything offensive.

"Please dont call me sir." The man mimics Jimmy's formal voice and chuckles, "My name is Daniel...Daniel Cooper."

Jimmy nods awkwardly and flashes a forced smile. "I'm sorry but that wouldn't be professional sir" Jimmy emphasises the last word while trying to be as polite as possible.

"I see..." He trails off while eyeing Jimmy's six feet body from head to toe. Jimmy couldn't tell why this stranger is looking at him like that. He didn't feel uncomfortable though because it wasn't a sexual perusal. He felt defensive. Daniel looked at him suspiciously. Like he had just been accused of something and Daniel was the judge. "I'd like your Pappardelle with Sea Urchin and Cauliflower." Jimmy scribbles the man's order on his note pad.

"Anything else you'd like to order?"

"And some white wine."

"Coming right up." And with that Jimmy dashes to place the order. After placing the order he grabs Lisa's wrist and pulls her aside. "Do you know why that man requested to be served by me?"

"To be honest I don't know...but it might be because you made quite a good impression on him before." Lisa suggests but Jimmy isn't convinced.

"Not that I remember everyone I've served in the seven months I've worked here, but I've never seen him before." Lisa just shrugs and gets back to work.

Jimmy makes his way to Table 3 once again after Daniel raises his hand asking for the bill. He inhaled and exhaled slowly before arriving at the table, preparing himself to deal with this weird man. Jimmy sets the machine on the table and Daniel pays the bill, not giving Jimmy a single glance. Now he was acting normal and Jimmy couldn't be more grateful.

Jimmy heads to the main desk to hand in the machine and goes back to clear table 3. His heart stops immediately as he gets closer and closer. The strange man had left and he left a big chunk of money as a tip. Jimmy picked up the money not believing his luck. He notices a small white sheet of paper on the side and he notices something is written on it:
