"Where did Richard go?" Jimmy watched as Steven started his car. After the second attempt the ignition finally went on and a victorious smile graced his face. It was an old car and Jimmy had always pestered him about it, and that's probably how Jimmy got the nickname 'Brat'. But Steven argued as long as it takes him to work and back he couldn't be happier.

"Oh he left with AJ. Those two are inseparable." Jimmy chuckled a bit before turning the radio on. "Hey I've been thinking about the incident a lot..."

"Yeah?"

"I think it's strange that someone would want to hurt you out of the blue. I mean it's not like you were mugged. You still have your phone." Jimmy just sighed.

"I'm tired and I don't want to think about it."

"I think you should learn self defence." Jimmy furrowed his brows as he pondered on Steven's suggestion. "C'mon Jimmy! You should learn to protect yourself 'cause I really can't believe that small wound made you pass out."

"I hate blood okay!" Jimmy stressed and Steven laughed.

"You're such a pussy." Jimmy rolled his eyes for what seemed to be the millionth time that day.

"Lightening don't strike the same place twice Steve. I'm sure it won't happen again."

"Do you really want to bet your life on that?!" Steven shifted his eyes to Jimmy for a while before turning back to the road. Jimmy went quiet knowing that Steven was right. It was strange and he didn't want to think about what would've happened had Nathan not showed up. "Maybe AJ can teach you self defence." Steven smiled mischievously and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Oh no.. I can't ask AJ. We'd do less fighting and more fucking."

"That counts as a workout too." Steven winked, already used to the graphics. Jimmy punched him lightly on the arm. "Okay okay... But promise me you're gonna get someone to teach you."

"I promise."

"Oh I didn't know you're fetching me today!" Eva excitedly took off her school bag and hopped on.

"Someone seems excited. Are rides with mom that bad?" She gave Adam a knowing smile and look and he laughed. "Don't get too comfortable... It's only for today."

"Did you bring me a snack?"

"No."

"Then I'm not comfortable." She threw her bag in the back seat and buckled up as he started driving. After a while of driving in comfortable silence, Adam decided to ease some internal conflict he was having. Richard had always told him it helps talking about stuff so he decided to give it a try.

"Eva... Can I pick your brain a little?"

"Uh-huh..." He took a deep breath.

"How would you feel if I liked other guys?" The air fell silent as Eva processed the question. Adam bit his lip at his stupidity. How can he ask her something like that. The anticipation of her answer killed him, yet he still wanted to hear it. He still wanted the opinion of a neutral person. She took what felt like minutes to answer. More like add to his confusion.

"You mean Jimmy?" He finally looked at her perplexed.

"You know about him?"
