Michael's POV
I've been living with my mom back at home. It's been a lot better. I still don't go out very much just because I don't have any friends, but it feels nice knowing I don't have rules to follow. At times I wanted to visit the bunch. Calum said I can come by whenever. I just feel bad because I chickened out ultimately.

Today I was going out though. I went to Starbucks to my fix of coffee because I was in dire need. Recently I've been out more. There's this girl. I know I thought was gay, but at this point, I don't care. I like who I like and I think I like her. Her hair is this purple pink color and she has this cute button nose. Something about her just compels me to get to know her.

"Hi Michael. Your usual?" Crystal asked.

That was her name. It just rolls of the tongue. She made my order really quick, and before I left, she said,

" I like your shirt"

She was referring to my Iron Maiden tee shirt. I smiled at her and thanked her for my drink leaving the store. I looked at the sided to see if I mixed everything together, and I notice more than just my name and ingredients. I saw what I assume is her number. I decided to enter the number in my phone and text her later. I didn't want to get her in trouble.

I think today will be the day I go over. It's only a couple block from where I am now. I definitely need the exercise so I'm gonna walk there.

"Hi." I said with a sigh.

"Hey bud! Come on in. We have all missed you. Just to warn you Ash is different."

"Daddy? Who is it at the door?," Autumn came around the corner, " Mikey!"

She jumped into my arms hugging me. I laughed and kissed her head.

"Sorry to just stop by, but I was out and--"

"Nonsense you are always welcomed. Hey Luke Michael is here!"

I heard two separate padding on the ground. Giggles which are ashtons were emerging from upstairs. A word of caution was heard also.

"Baby girl be careful going down the stairs."

Girl. So that's the change. By now we are in the living room. Ash was on Luke's lap and Calum and Autumn sat side by side.

"So Mike what have you been up to."

"Not much. I have been going out more recently."

"Met anyone?" Autumn asked.

"I have...kinda. Um, I got this number from this barista in StarBucks, but I haven't texted her yet."

"Why not dude. Text her now."

"I will tonight."

"Michael can you stay for dinner?" Ash asked.

"Hey petal what did I say of asking for big thing without asking for permission from me or Calum." He glared at him.

"Sorry Lukey. Can he?" He asked giving puppy eyes and then kissing him on the cheek.

"I don't want to inconvenience you guys. I can come back another time."

"No join us we were going to order your favorite, pizza." Calum said.

"PIZZA!" Both Ash and Autumn.

The pizza was good as usual, granted I found the place, and I am the foodie of the bunch. The dinner felt like I was back only that I don't live here anymore. The boys made text Crystal before eating. They wouldn't let me eat unless I texted her. I didn't want to be creepy or over the top, so I sent a simple text.

Hey it's Michael from starbucks. You gave me your number, and I just wanted to say hi again...so Hi!

I left shortly after Ashton started to get fussy and it was my cue to go before he got into trouble. I checked my phone to see if I got a text back. Nothing. Maybe she was playing me, or I can think positive and maybe she is busy.
I entered the house and both my parents attention were upon me. They had a look of worry, mad and relief.

"Where were you," My mom said calmly.

"I'm sorry I should have texted. I was with the boys. They wanted me to have dinner with them."

"Text one of us next time, but you are an adult so we can't get mad."

I nodded my head and went to my room. I decided on going to bed early, but a shower is definitely needed. I hopped into the steaming shower. It was quite relaxing and was sad when I hat to get out.

I checked my phone before turning off the lights and saw I got a text.
Hey Michael. I've noticed you at starbucks more lately. We should hang out sometime.
Come by tomorrow at 3 :-p

I fell asleep happy for a change.
