Matsuri panted heavily as she leaned against the wall
I can't keep running...ugh...everything hurts...damn
Matsuri sighed deeply and looked up at the sky
At least it stopped raining...but shit...that fuckin hurt like hell
'Yeah that's what you'll be facing...'
Wait there's more!?
'Duh...there are more demons out there who want to kill us'

'I'm just messing with you. There are some demons who are my friends but they are just pathetic...'

Matsuri groaned and walked away. She was all wet with water dripping from her clothes and her wet shoes. She shivered feeling cold and walked through the streets
"How an I suppose to survive in this world?" Matsuri asked
"Surviving isn't difficult. As long as you're strong you're alive..." Miaseakuu said as she shifted into a dog and followed her
"Where the hell am I suppose to go now?" Matsuri asked
"I'm not sure" Miaseakuu said
"You said this is your life...weren't you in this situation?" Matsuri asked
"Hehe...I actually didn't survive for so long. Some demon asshole took me to the man. The one who killed me...hehe...the last thing I saw was her...in tears then bam! Ended up in heaven" Miaseakuu said
"Eh? How about her? Did she kill herself?" Matsuri asked
"You could say that...anyways...forget it. I don't want to remember" Miaseakuu said
"Why not?" Matsuri asked
"Just shut up okay?" Miaseakuu growled
"Okay" Matsuri said
"Do you really think you can get away?" Harumin asked as she was on the roof
"H-harumin!?" Matsuri exclaimed. Harumin jumped off and landed in front of her
"Hey baby. Time to take you home" Harumin said
"H-home?" Matsuri asked as she stepped back but bumped into someone. She looked behind her seeing Mitsuko
"Make it quick Harumi. I don't plan chasing her down the whole time" Mitsuko said
"It'll be quick as long as she obeys" Harumin said. Matsuri clenched her fists tightly and gulped
"Miaseakuu..." Matsuri whispered. Miaseakuu vanished and Matsuri ran away
"Baby! Don't leave me!" Harumin said and ran up to her. Mitsuko rolled her eyes and followed her. Matsuri spread her wings and flew away
"Get away from me!" Matsuri said flying away. Harumin flew up in front of her and Matsuri dived down trying to hide away from Harumin
'Crash into the wall'
Huh?! Why!?
'Just do it!'
I'll die!
'Trust me!'
Matsuri closed her eyes and flew towards a shadow wall then flew inside it. Harumin hissed and landed on the ground
"You lost her again?" Malori asked. Hamalie growled clenching her fists tightly and shouted as she released a dark aura and her eyes turned red
"MIASEAKUU!!!"

"Aaaaaaah! What the fuck is this!?" Matsuri exclaimed as she saw a bunch of darkness
"Relax and fall" Miaseakuu said
"What!?" Matsuri exclaimed
"Fall!" Miaseakuu shouted. Matsuri shut her wings and eyes then fell down into darkness
"Aaaaaaah!" Matsuri shouted and felt something soft. Matsuri opened her eyes and gasped. She saw a room that was completely grim and dark
"What is this place?" Matsuri asked
"Welcome to my place!" Miaseakuu said and giggled
"Huh? This is where you live?" Matsuri asked
"Yep! It's just dark. Come on you have to meet the crew!" Miaseakuu said
"The crew?" Matsuri asked and stood up
"Yeah the crew! We're the Rejects!" Miaseakuu said and walked out the room. Matsuri followed her and she walked out the door. She looked around seeing a living room with so little light
"Meet the Rejects!" Miaseakuu said. Matsuri saw other demons and they all smiled. Some had scars and wounds
"Hey Miaseakuu!"
"Miaseakuu!"
"Our girl is back!"
"Our baby is back!"
"Hell yeah!"
Matsuri was surprised and she looked at them
"Ah where are our manners. I'm Tai"
"Ogmil"
"Zennoth"
"Mazaath"
"Annanoth"
"And of course yours truly Miaseakuu! Leader of the Rejects!" Miaseakuu said
"Wow hehe nice to meet you all. I'm Matsuri" Matsuri said
"Hey nice to meet you Matsuri" Tai said
"A pleasure to see you" Mazaath said
"You look just like Miaseakuu. Did God decide to reincarnate you?" Zennoth asked
"Hehe yeah he did" Miaseakuu said
"Hmm? She doesn't seem bad" Ogmil said
"Hey! You have a dick!" Annanoth said which made Matsuri blush
"H-huh!? How did you know?!" Matsuri exclaimed
"Hehe I just know" Annanoth giggled
"A-anyways...so you're the Rejects?" Matsuri asked
"Yeah and I think you know why we're called like that" Tai said
"Were you all rejected?" Matsuri asked
"Yes...tragedy happened to us all. We were all rejected and broken by the ones we loved" Zennoth said
"Those bitches never deserved us..." Ogmil said
"Fuck them!" Mazaath said and growled
"Guys calm down. Let's all sit down and talk" Miaseakuu said
"You're right Miaseakuu" Annanoth said and smiled. Matsuri sat down and looked around
"Hey who wants to eat?" Miaseakuu asked
"Oooh! I do!"
"Me first!"
"Hey! I asked first!"
"No! I did!"
Miaseakuu just smiled and laughed a bit
"Guys guys calm down. I'll prepare the meal now. Hey Zennoth mind helping out a bit?" Miaseakuu asked
"Sure thing Miaseakuu" Zennoth said going to the kitchen. Matsuri's eyes widen surprised seeing Miaseakuu so happy and smiling
"Wow...she's happy. I never seen her this happy" Matsuri said
"That's because she isn't fully a demon" Annanoth said
"Huh? What?" Matsuri asked
"She's still God's favorite human. So she still has that archangel side of hers" Annanoth said
"But why does she act so mean and harsh?" Matsuri asked
"Well duh. Rejected by Hamalie" Annanoth said
"Oh...her but she wants her back. We were chased by her" Matsuri said
"Well...you see...Miaseakuu is not the type to face her problems. She usually runs from it" Annanoth said
"Why?" Matsuri asked
"I don't know. She never talks about her past...but she did say something about her grandparents. I guess it had to do something with her past that affected her" Annanoth said
"So uh...what's your story?" Matsuri asked
"Hehe before I became like that I was extremely shy and timid. I had a couple of friends but I was always bullied around until I met him...hehe he was the cutest and most popular guy in school. He never noticed me and always ignored me. He never knew I existed or that I was in his class...but one day I decided to change my looks and everything about myself. That's when he finally noticed me...hehe basically everyone in the school noticed me. Guys asked me out and I rejected them all. The only guy I ever wanted was him..." Annanoth said
"But what went wrong?" Matsuri asked
"That bastard...hehe...I asked him out but he said it'll ruin his reputation because I'm an outcast and he's popular so guess what I did...?" Annanoth asked
"Cried?" Matsuri asked
"Hehe I pulled my knife at him then killed him right in that spot he was..." Annanoth said
"You murdered him!?" Matsuri exclaimed
"That bastard deserved to die" Annanoth said and smiled
"So then you became a demon?" Matsuri asked
"Yes..but I was always an outcast not until Miaseakuu found me and took me in" Annanoth said and giggled
"May I ask how did Miaseakuu come up with this crew?" Matsuri asked
"Oh she is our savior! She helped us all through tough times" Mazaath said
"She found us abandoned and rejected so she decided to take care of us. We told each other our lives and she didn't say much since she didn't want to remember" Ogmil said
"Wow...that is really sweet and nice of her" Matsuri said
"Miaseakuu may seem mean and scary in the outside but in the inside...hehe she's just an angel. An angel that does want to go home...her real home" Tai said
"Home? You mean heaven?" Matsuri asked
"Yes that's where her grandparents are and she's been wanting to see them for the past 100 years but she never succeeded" Mazaath said
"Then I'll help her" Matsuri said
"Help her?" Tai asked
"Well...God has given me another chance to live because I died and I'm living Miaseakuu's life. She said that we're helping each other out. If she protects me and guides me the right way she'll be heading back to heaven" Matsuri said
"Hmmm? And is she doing a good job?" Ogmil asked
"Uh hehe...that's the problem. I don't understand why she doesn't want to go back with her" Matsuri said
"Miaseakuu usually hates remembering her past. She especially hates what she did to her friends..." Mazaath said
"What did she do?" Matsuri asked
"She went on a killing spree and killed her friends in rage...she regrets that decision because she knows deep down it's all her fault. They suffered because of her..." Annanoth said
"But it wasn't her fault...the devil himself took over her and possessed her body. He made her attack all her friends and kill them" Tai said
"Oh..." Matsuri mumbled
So...Miaseakuu isn't bad as I thought. She just...wants to go home
"Why did Hamalie reject her?" Matsuri asked
"W-we're not allowed to speak about that" Annanoth said
"Yeah...it's best to just leave it in the past" Mazaath said
"It was all because of Kristen-" Suddenly Miaseakuu threw a knife at them but missed. The crew trembled and looked down
"Never...mention that asshole's shitty fuckin name" Miaseakuu growled as she glared at them all
"W-we're sorry" The crew whimpered. Matsuri stood up and looked at Miaseakuu
"Why do you keep running?" Matsuri asked
"What are you talking about?" Miaseakuu asked
"You keep running away when someone is trying to help you. Hamalie wants to help you so let her help you" Matsuri said
"Shut up" Miaseakuu growled
"She loves you and you keep pushing her away. What are you so afraid of?" Matsuri asked
"I told you to shut up!" Miaseakuu shouted
"She really loves you! Do you think I want to live like you? No! I don't want to be alone! I want my senpai! She cares and loves me! All this time you were guiding me to hell! I want to see my grandparents! I want to live! I want to be an angel! I want to be with my friends and family! I want to be with Harumin!" Matsuri cried as tears rolled down her cheeks. Miaseakuu's eyes widen and clenched her fists tightly as memories of the past came flooding in her mind
"Run Miaseakuu!"
"Miaseakuu it's all your fault...you worthless brat"
"It would be best if you were dead..."
"I'm sorry Miaseakuu..."
"Miaseakuu...run. Run no matter what just get out of here"
"I love you Miaseakuu...please take care of your little brother and make it out alive"
"Why are you running away from me? What are you afraid of?"
"Miaseakuu...don't leave...."
Miaseakuu growled and yelled as her past came in
"I said shut up!" Miaseakuu shouted and punched Matsuri. Matsuri's eyes widen and got pushed against the wall hard. Matsuri gasped for air and fell to the ground groaning
"Matsuri!" The gang exclaimed and helped her up. Matsuri felt a burning sensation in her chest and clenched her chest tightly
"M-my heart..." Matsuri whispered and they lifted her shirt up revealing the scar that grew longer and wider. It almost seems like her chest was ripping wide open. Matsuri teared up and looked up at Miaseakuu
"Why do you keep hurting me?" Matsuri asked
"Because I don't want to remember..." Miaseakuu said
"But sis...you're suppose to protect me" A boy's voice was heard. Miaseakuu's eyes widen and teared up as her brother stood next to Matsuri looking at her with teary eyes
"L-little bro..." Miaseakuu mumbled and fell on her knees. Tears started rolling down her cheeks and Miaseakuu let out a soft cry. Many years Miaseakuu has never cried not even once. For 100 years she was the strong and huge fighter but now...that Miaseakuu was gone. Her true side was revealed. Her true self. The real Miaseakuu...was back. Miaseakuu wiped her tears and clenched her fists tightly
"I let everyone down...I dragged everyone in this mess...in this mess with me. If I hadn't done that then maybe they would still be alive and happy...maybe my grandparents would still be alive...or my brother.." Miaseakuu said as tears rolled down her cheeks. Matsuri looked at her and looked down
"Running away won't help...you'll keep suffering if you push your loved ones away...especially the ones that wants to help you. So...please...take me back where I want to be with" Matsuri said. Miaseakuu's looked at her and saw her brother nod. She sighed deeply and stood up
"Alright...we'll go" Miaseakuu whispered. Suddenly everyone gasped and Miaseakuu looked at them confused. She turned around and her eyes widen seeing her wings form into angel wings
"Wh-what the hell? How?" Miaseakuu asked
"It's because of her. She's the key for you to head home" Zennoth said
"Guys...I know I want to head home but you-"
"Don't worry about us Miaseakuu. You did your best in taking care of us. Now it's time for you to leave and get back on track to go back up" Tai said
"B-but...you're all family to me. All those times we spent together" Miaseakuu said
"We know Miaseakuu but admit it...you want her do you?" Annanoth asked. Miaseakuu blushed and looked down
"Just go Miaseakuu. Thank you for taking care of us all" Mazaath said
"You have to go back to your real home" Ogmil said. Miaseakuu teared up and the crew hugged her
"You know...you actually make a great mother. The way you took care of us is like a mother even though you're the youngest" Tai said. Miaseakuu smiled and sighed deeply
"You know...when I get back to heaven. I promise I will help you all get there with me" Miaseakuu said
"Awww Miaseakuu I think I'm gonna tear up" Mazaath said
"Don't worry Miaseakuu. I promise to take care of them" Zennoth said
"Thanks Zennoth. Now...I must go" Miaseakuu said and a dark shadow wall appeared
"Bye!"
"We love you!"
"Take care!"
Matsuri jumped through the wall and came back to the real world
"Alright let's go kid" Miaseakuu said
"Wait Miaseakuu..." Matsuri said
"What?" Miaseakuu asked
"I want to ask you something but should I kill someone for you to answer?" Matsuri asked
"I guess not. I mean I'm not completely a demon" Miaseakuu said
"Okay...well I want to ask you. Miaseakuu...how was your life?" Matsuri asked
"Hehe...well if you must know..." Miaseakuu mumbled
