"Why not just call me himself?" Lorenzo asked.

"You never answer his calls, Lorenzo."

"You know why?"

"It's been years. She was a traitor, Lorenzo. Padre did what was necessary and you know that."

"I understand why he did it, but he should have warned me. I could have spent more time with her, but he took that away from me."

"He knows you, Lorenzo. You would have done something to stop him.

"That doesn't matter. I would have liked to know beforehand that my father put a hit out on the love of my life," he yelled and stood from the couch. The more his enter build up, the more heavy his breaths became. He was prepared to cuss out his brother when the sound of something fall could be heard. He marched over to the door and swung it open. He looked down and saw Celeste crouching with a vase in her arms. She gave him an awkward smile while he maintained an irritated scowled.
