At the church, all the Russo's we gathered and ready to send their father off, but in Russo fashion not without complications.
"WHERE THE FUCK IS HIS BOW TIE!!" Giovanni yelled. The Russo sons were rushing to help his father get ready. They had to help him get ready at the church instead of at home even though his fiancé was getting ready at her parents house. Luca walked over to his brother and hands it to him. Giovanni takes it and wraps it around his father's neck before tying it into a bow.
"Lorenzo, hand me the comb," Giovanni said. Lorenzo stood up and grabbed the phone before he handed it to Giovanni. He took it and proceeded to slick back his fathers hair. He took a step back and looked at his father with a smile once he was all ready.
"How do I look?" Alphonso asked as he brushed down his suit with his hands. Giovanni, Lorenzo, Luca and Irene stood in front of him with smiles on their face.
"Stai bene, papà, (you look great, dad)" Irene said with a smile.
"Grazie, piccolo mia, (thank you, my little girl)" he said. He looked at his little girl, happy to see he the way he remembered. Irene was wearing a floral dress and had on a light amount of make up. She decided not to wear any heavy make up because it was her fathers wedding day and she wanted to keep him happy.
"Thank you all for being here. I know I haven't been the best Papa to you, especially you Lorenzo, but I appreciate you being here," Alphonso said.
"Let's not talk about that. We can deal with it after your wedding, but today's your day. So make the most of it," Lorenzo said. Although Lorenzo smiled and laughed with his dad, he still had a lot he wanted to talk to him about.
They all walked out of the room and moved into where the ceremony would take place. Soon people started coming in and filling up the seats. Everyone was there, even Lola, Axel, Javier and his husband, Darcy were present. They waved to Lorenzo who waved back before they took their seats. Lorenzo could help but to smile as soon as he saw Celeste enter the room. She walked down the aisle side by side with Hye-Jin and Trinity. At that moment he knew this would be them on day. She would be walking down the aisle in a long white gown with a train that go for miles and he would stand where he is now, but instead his brothers would be sending him off. Lorenzo was snapped from his fantasy when Luca tapped him on the shoulder to let him know the ceremony was starting. The ceremony took about an hour, but once the two said I do the room was filed with cheers and tears. After the picture part of the wedding was done, everyone left the church and drove down to an Italian restaurant that the Russo's have owned for decades. It took a little while, but soon everyone had arrived. Irene who was there first sat bored on her phone as she waited. However, she relived the night would not be as lame as she thought because she wouldn't be there alone. Irene smiled widely when Raven and T.J. arrived with Ayanna. She ran over to her friends and gave them a big hug. Although Bianca is Irene's best friend, Irene shares a very close bond with Raven and T.J. because she is with them the most. She almost knocked them over when she hugged them but they embraced her back."What are you guys doing here," she asked once the released from their hug.
"Giovanni was able to get us seats," Raven said.
"Besides, he wouldn't let us stay home alone. He doesn't trust us," T.J. Said.
"It's not that he don't trust y'all. It's just we don't know y'all well enough to leave in our house alone," Ayanna said.
"It doesn't matter. I'm just happy you guys are here. I don't think I'd be able to go through this whole reception alone," Irene said. Giovanni walked over to them and gave Ayanna a kiss before he turned to Irene.
