Lorenzo walked down the staircase with a briefcase in one hand and his phone in the other. He placed his phone into his back pocket after he closed it and placed his briefcase on the floor before Celeste came and helped him put on his jacket.
"What time will you be home?" She asked.
"Not too late. When I get back we go another round," he said.
"Ou talk dirty to me," she said with a smile.
"I'll use more than just words," he said before he gave her a quick kiss and walked out the door. She closed the door and smiled before she turned to Hye-Jin with a cookie in her mouth.
"What?" Celeste asked.
"I should really stay in my room," she said as she made he way back there.
"You know you wish you could do this with Silvio," Celeste said. Hye-Jin flipped her off as she continued to her and Trinity's room before she closed the door. Celeste shook her head and laughed before she walked into the living room to watch T.V. She ended up watching multiple episodes of Shameless on Netflix until she heard her stomach grumble. She groaned as she put the show on pause and stood from the couch. She stretched her arms out wide as she proceeded towards the kitchen. Once there she opened the fridge and searched for something to eat. She pulled out a loaf of bread and jam before going to the cabinets and pulling out peanut butter. She made her sandwich and put everything back where they belong. When she took a bite of her sandwich she noticed the screen door was open. She shook her head and closed it. She was about to call Hye-Jin's name, but frowned when she realized no on came downstairs since the morning. She felt fear begin to consumed her whole body. She slowly took steps back as she tried to reach for the phone, but didn't get to the chance.
"Why am I not surprised," Celeste said. Martina walked into the kitchen as she pointed a gun at Celeste.
"Hello Celeste," Martina said with a smirk.
"Martina," Celeste said.
"Don't make this harder than it has to be," Martina said.
"You fraudulent bitch. I can't believe you'd betray Lorenzo like this," She said.
"Who said I'm betraying him. This is all for him," Martina said.
"How?" She asked.
"Because with you out of the way we can finally be together," Martina said.
"Not with Raphael on you," she said.
"Oh please. Who do you think I'm doing this with? Turns out you attract men easily," Martina said.
"What do you mean?" Celeste asked.
"I made a deal with Raphael. He gets you, I get Enzo. Turns out he wants you more than me. Not gonna lie I feel a bit offended, but I'll feel much better after I get my love back," Martina said.
"You're delusional you know that," Celeste said.
"NO YOU ARE!! To think that you could be with him!!," Martina said grabbed Celeste by her shirt collar and held the gun to her head.
"Lorenzo won't let Raphael live," Celeste said.
"I know. So when he kills Costa, you'll get caught in the crossfire. Hahaha. It'll be perfect and I'll be there to mend his broken heart," Martina said taking steps back, yet keeping the gun pointed at her.
"He doesn't love you anymore. You're life will be much better once you realize that," Celeste said. Martina wanted badly to be able to debunk her statement; however, she couldn't because a small part of her knew what Celeste said was true, but she wasn't willing to accept it yet. While Martina was distracted, Celeste took this opportunity to try an take the gun away from her. She grabbed it and proceeded to pull it out of her hands, but Martina wouldn't loosen her grip on it. While the two wrestled for the gun, Trinity came running into the kitchen because of the commotion she heard from upstairs. Unfortunately, she didn't get the chance to see what happened because as soon as she entered a shot went off. Both Martina and Celeste opened their mouth in shock at what just occurred. Martina had accidentally pulled the trigger and it hit Trinity. Celeste let go of the gun and tried to run to Trinity's aid, but Martina grabbed her and held the gun to her back.
"Move," she said.
"What? No, I can't leave her like this," Celeste protested.
"Move, I said. Or you're next," she said as she pushed her towards the door while she kept the gun on her.
"I'm sorry," Celeste said as she walked out the back door with Martina behind her. Celeste walked in front of Martina towards a white van.
"Get in," Martina said. Celeste glared at her while remaining still. "Now," Martina clarified. Celeste was reluctant, but got in anyway because she knew better than to object with a gun beside her head.
"Nice work," one of the men said. Martina rolled her eyes as she got into the van before they all drove away. They all sat in silence during the ride until Martina received a phone call.
"Hello," She said.
"Is it done?" Raphael asked.
"Yes, she's right here," Martina replied.
"Good, make sure she gets here alive," Raphael said.
"I know," Martina said. While Martina was distracted with the phone call, Celeste attempted to make an escape. She hopped out of her seat and got control of the stealing wheel. Everyone quickly worked to try and get her to let go and sit back down. Unfortunately, she didn't have it for long because Martina took the gun and hit Celeste in the back of her head which knocked her unconscious.
"Tie her up, now. I don't need her waking up and causing anymore problems before we get there. Make sure she's blindfolded too," Martina said. The men nodded before following Martina's orders and tying Celeste up. They bonded her hands with some rope in the back, wrapped a scarf around her eyes so that she couldn't see, and put tape over her mouth. Martina shook her head as she lent onto the door and stared at the window. She thought about Lorenzo and the time they shared together. She smiled at the idea of them finally rekindling their flame of love; however, she forgot that just like all flames, they extinguish at some point. She didn't know at that time, but she would not get the happy ending she hoped for.
