Celeste was excited for the wedding, but it brought up some thoughts that are sorrowful. Specifically, the idea of being walked down the aisle made her unhappy because it made her think of her father. The last time she saw him was the night of Lorenzo's father's death. She never brought it up to him, but she wanted to find her father. Despite the fact that he didn't recognize her, she hoped that it was simply because she was much older the last time he saw her. After much thought, She decided that she'd confine in Lorenzo and ask for his help.
Celeste took a deep breath before she slowly opened Lorenzo's office door. She smiled when she saw him with his reading glasses on as he focused on his paperwork. Once Lorenzo retired from the mafia, he focused on the business chains that he had in the beginning such as restaurants and clubs. Now he's been putting more time and energy into those businesses because they are his main source of income. This brought in enough income to move into a bigger house in New York, that came equipe with a elevator and chair lift on ever staircase. which is necessary for Lorenzo.
"Hey Lorenzo," She said as she walked towards him. He looked up at her and smiled before he slowly took off his glasses.
"Il mio cuore, (My heart)," he said.
"How's work?" She asked.
"Going well, but tiring. Come over here," he said. She walked over to him and sat on his lap as he wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped hers around his neck gently.
"What do you need, amore mio?" He asked.
"I saw my dad again," she stated.
"Really, that's great. Why didn't you tell me about that?" He asked.
"I saw him the night you're father died. I was afraid to bring it up because I didn't want you to be reminded of it. I didn't want to be selfish since your dad died," She said.
"That's not being selfish, at all. Celeste, we're gonna be married soon. You can tell me anything and I'll always be her to listen. Don't ever be afraid to talk to me, okay?" He asked.
"Okay, I'm sorry," she said before she placed a soft kiss on his lips.
"Good. Talk to me, How was it?" He asked.
"Not good. He didn't even recognize me," she said.
"I'm sorry, Amore Mio," He said as he softly rubbed her back.
"I know. That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about. You know I was if you'd help me find him," she said.
"Of course. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you. I just need his name, your old address, where he used to work. Basically anything you remember that might help," he said.
"For real. Thank you," she said as she hugged him tightly.
"You don't have to thank me. You should know that by now. I'll need some time, but I'll let you know when I find him," he said.
"Thank you, Lorenzo," she said.
"I know. Now as much as I'd love to have you with me all day. I'll never get any work done," he said. She stood up but turned around and leaned down in front of him.
"You sure," she said as she placed her hand on his pelvic area.
