2. Do You Ever Think About Me?

"I don't hate her. I never could." Lisa drums her fingers on the table. "Not after everything that happened between us."

Jisoo frowns. "What I don't understand is... you guys kissed? And to think she was already dating Kim Jongin oppa that time," she wondered.

They sat in a café on the outskirts of the city, which meant that there were a few people who came in. They borrowed the whole second floor all to themselves for extra privacy.

"The three of us didn't know at that time, all we knew was that Jennie was acting weird and suspicious," Lisa defended. "I'm guessing the only person that knew was Irene unnie. Kai and Irene are in the same entertainment, right?"

Chaeyoung agreed. "Maybe Irene was their messenger or something?"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Jisoo interrupts, waving her hands around. "It's obvious. What I want to know is how you and Jennie kissed, and why?"

Lisa blushes. "Do you really have to know the details?"

"Yes, woman!" The eldest exclaims. "I mean, I know that you have something for Jennie, but I'm honestly shocked that that would happen."

The Australian holds her hands up. "Wait, does Jennie unnie like you?" She asks, leaning in towards the maknae. "If so, that would explain the kiss, but it would also disagree with the fact that she likes Jongin oppa."

Lisa's bombed with questions. She doesn't even know if Jennie's not straight. All she knows is that she regrets ever pouring out her feelings to Jennie. That night when she kissed her, things felt so right. Only when New Year's poured in, Lisa found that her whole world was taken by somebody else.

"Alright, I'll tell you what happened, and you can judge for yourselves. But don't you dare laugh at me," the youngest says.

"Yah, Manoban!" Jennie exclaimed, standing on a stool. "Help me hang this candy cane, since you're way taller than me."

Lisa turned her attention away from her phone to face the older woman. She felt her breath being taken away. Jennie really was gorgeous. Although she had an ugly sweater on and she was a bit sweaty, she was still so perfect in Lisa's eyes.

"Alright, I'm coming," Lisa replied, chuckling lightly. "Where are Jisoo unnie and Chaeyoung, anyway?"

The shorter one shrugged, and stepped down the stool. "I don't know. They said they were going to buy some food with manager oppa, but I don't know what's taking them so long."

Lisa took the candy cane decoration from Jennie's hand. "Good thing you got me, 'cause if you didn't you'd be struggling to hang half the decorations in here." She laughed as Jennie hit her shoulder.

"I'd kill you if it wasn't true," Jennie muttered, scrunching her nose cutely that it made Lisa's heart double in size.

Lisa stepped on the stool, and hung the candy cane with ease. "Easy peasy," she says, smiling brightly.
