6. Nothing Blooms Since You

"Okay, Lisa," Jisoo said, rolling her eyes at the maknae. "Time to fess up." The eldest sat on Lisa's bed, making herself comfortable. She's had enough of Lisa's pining over Jennie, and she planned to make the Thai confess once and for all. "I'm sick of you making googly eyes at Jennie and thinking no one can notice."

Jisoo's sudden outburst shocked Lisa. "W-what the hell are you talking about?" She laughed nervously, fiddling with the ends of her flannel jacket. All Jisoo wanted to do at that moment was slap the youngest member because of how embarrassingly obvious she was with her huge crush on Jennie. It's not that she was against things like that, she actually found it absolutely cute. But Lisa was making a fool of herself if she thought that she was being slick.

"I'm talking about how you're so obviously in love with Jennie and you're not telling me!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air and looking frustrated. "Do you know how annoying it is to look at your 'in love' face? Ugh."

"In love with her?" Lisa replied, her voice shaky as she joined Jisoo on her bed. "I don't know where you got that from."

The eldest rolled her eyes. Calm down, she told herself. "Tell me, why did you give her a shit ton of gifts on Valentine's Day?" she asked, narrowing her eyes.

The maknae shrugged. "It was for the spirit of the holiday, unnie!" she reasoned. "And can't I give my friends gifts on Valentine's?"

"Spirit of the holiday, my ass," she muttered. "Why didn't you give me or Chaeng any gifts for Valentine's then, dumbass? Or how about that time when Jennie and I had flu but you only gave medicine to Jennie? Or that time when I bullied Jennie to the point she cried, you literally got so mad at me. There was also that time--"

Lisa covered Jisoo's mouth with her hand and pushed her out of the bed. "Okay, shut up! Stop talking."

Jisoo internally smirked. Bingo. The idiot was finally going to confess, and that made her happy, despite the fact that she was on the cold floor. She's been observing the Thai for a while now, and she thought sometimes even Jennie flirted back. Maybe it was just her imagination? Or the fact that she low-key shipped the two? "This is the part where you tell me that you're so in love with Jennie and you want to wife her up, but you can't because you're a pussy, 'cause you can't even tell me, one of your closest unnies."

The youngest sighed and sat up. "Just please don't tell anyone, unnie," she said softly, pouting her lips. "I don't know what I'd do if people found out."

"I won't tell anyone, I swear," the vocalist replied, pinching Lisa's cheeks. "And whoever will talk foul about you, I'll kick their asses, trust me." She winked and the Thai laughed.

"I really like Jennie," she confessed, sighing. "And it sucks because I can't do anything about it. Imagine what she'll think of me once she knows! She'll resent me for the rest of her life."

Jisoo rubbed Lisa's back comfortingly. Now this is what she's here for. She might bully Lisa, but as her unnie, it's her job to always be there for the three of them no matter what. She's the one they should tell everything to, because she's supposed to understand. "Lalisa, she won't, I promise you. But I won't force you to confess to her or something. But don't beat yourself up just because you feel that way, okay? Love is love, no matter the gender. You're not wrong or different just because everyone says so."

Lisa smiled gently, and looked at Jisoo shyly. "I'm really glad I let it off my chest," she replied. "But I'm nervous. What if Jennie finds out?"

"If I was Jennie, I'd feel really lucky to be liked by someone like you, but don't fall in love with me, okay? That'd be disgusting, we're like sisters or something," she jokes, laughing. "But in all seriousness, don't be nervous to pour out your feelings. Jennie's not a fool, Lisa. She knows better than to act immaturely and resent you. She really values you even if she doesn't show it that much."
