*Djs POV*

By the time I had gotten off the bus it was 5:17. I knew my calculations were gonna be somewhat accurate. The little girl that had been staring at me earlier had still been on the bus, and she stared at me through the window when she seen me standing on the sidewalk. I waved to her awkwardly, watching her smile at me while waving back. She was adorable, and I hoped wherever her and her mother were going that they would be safe. I would never forget her face.

I started to walk down the sidewalk with one ear bud in my ear, stuffing my hands into my jacket. It was so sunny out side today, but breezy at the same time.

It's not long before I hear a long honk beside me that causes me to speed walk. This was one of the reasons why I hated walking to places. Men these days didn't know how to control themselves. Women could never just take a stroll down the street without being harassed. I pulled my ear bud out of my ear and turned around to get a glimpse of the vehicle. I rolled my eyes when I realized who had been behind the wheel.

Jayon, of course.

I stopped walking and turned directly towards the street, watching him slow his car down with a smirk. "Thought I was somebody else didn't you?" He asks through his window, unlocking the door for me to get in. His eyes were locked on me, he looked almost shocked, but appealed.

"Maybe," I say smiling at him. I reached across the shift gear to give him a hug. "How are you?" I asked him.

"Uhm I've been better," he tells me, putting his gear in drive. "But I'm glad you called back, and you look...beautiful Dj," he tells me while playing with my hair.

"Thank you Jayon," I blush. "I'm surprised you knew who I was from the back."

"I didn't. I sped up my car to get a better look at your face before I honked. I didn't know that was you at all until I seen your cheek bones," he says, still staring at me. "Nobody has cheek bones like you,"

I laughed. "I'm glad you made sure it was me before you honked,"

We start to accelerate on the road once again. His K-camp had been playing, bringing me back to the moment where I listened to the 2 songs he had told me to listen too.

"I listened to those songs you told me about from like, 2 months ago," I tell him. He looks at me with a grin. "How'd you like them?"

"I liked Marilyn Monroe. It had an interesting message. The Actin' Up song though, made me laugh. I knew you were just trying to be funny when you said to listen to it," I laughed, making him laugh as well.

"I was," he tells me. "It still applies too."

"I'm sure it does," I say sarcastically. "How did you know I'd be walking down this street?" I asked him.

"I didn't. It was a coincidence and I figured, hey were going to the same place anyway. Why don't I just give her a ride?" He says.

"You're annoying," I say slapping his shoulder. He smiled arrogantly.

"Seriously though, I could have picked you up. I didn't know you were going to walk," he tells me.

"I'm independent," I tell him. "But thank you Jayon, you know I appreciate it."

"Mhm," he says, pulling into the parking lot of the Cafe we were going too. I look at the words of the building, reminiscing to the time we first came here. The memory seemed so foreign when it really wasn't.

He unbuckles his seat belt once he finds a park, and watches me unbuckle mines. He locks the door with his car keys when he sees me emerge from his car, and holds his hand out for me to grab.
