Hiccups POV

I carefully avoid the pot holes in the road so she can sleep peacefully. It's the least I can do for her considering she's shows me around, been my friend, and given she rides.

I turn down our street and Astrid starts to stir in her sleep. I look from her to the road, she's so peaceful.

The rain gets heavier as I drive. I turn the windshield wipers up to help with the rain.

I see Astrid's house coming up and slowly turn to park in her driveway.

Then the realization. The really real realization hits me. How am I suppose to get Astrid into her house?

Well I didn't think this far ahead.

Now I have to get Astrid into her house oh and I have to know what room is hers, also if anyone is home they are probably going to shoot first and ask questions never.

"Mmhm.."

I look at Astrid to see her stir a little in her seat.

I don't want to wake her up, but I don't wan to carry her into her house. With my leg I don't know if I even can carry her in the house. My ankle starts to cramp when it gets wet.

After a five minute debate on how I'm going to get Astrid into her house without waking her up and live to tell the tale.

I get out of the car and limp to her front door.

I knock twice and wait.

I hear a lock turning and the door starts to open.

The door open to reveal a frosty blonde boy. He was tall and pretty pale. His eyes matched Astrid's, I'm guessing her brother.

"Who are you?" He asked leaning on the door frame.

"Um I'm your new neighbor, my names Hiccup," I said introducing myself.

He just started at me for a second and looks me up and down," you here for my sister?" He asked a little confused.

"Yes! Well not in the way you're thinking I'm here to drop her off.... in her car.... she's asleep." I said not really knowing how to explain the situation.

"What?" He asked giving me a look of confusion," look my sister isn't home, I'll tell her you stopped by though if you would like."

"Um no," I said.

"What?" He said even more confused.

"Can I like come in and put Astrid to bed, it sounds really weird but I can explain that all later, she just fell asleep in her car and she would probably not be happy to be woken up." I tried to explain.

"What did you say your name was again?"

"Hiccup Haddock, I'm the neighbor."
He waved his hand in an up and down motion,"Yeah, yeah I got the neighbor part. Are you like her friend?"

"Yeah." I said trying to speed up the conversation.

"Ok Hiccup, bring her in," he said waving for me to follow and stepped inside the door.

"Uh ok," I said running back to Astrid to get her out of the car.

I opened her car door and carefully pulled her out carrying her to her door.

She leaned her head against my chest and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Where's her room?" I ask not realizing I sound like an absolute creep.

"Down the stairs to the left," he said closing he front door so the rain wouldn't get in.

"Thanks."

Astrid's POV

I feel a vibration on my ear and a warm surface.

I feel myself start to go down but not like a fast drop feeling like a slow feeling.

"Ok here you go."

Who is?..... oh Jack must be putting me to bed. He's such a good brother.

I stir a lit as I'm placed on a soft surface I notice to be my bed.

I instantly curl up into a ball. But feel the discomfort of my jeans. I roll onto my back without opening my eyes and unbutton my pants. I start to pull them off and have to wiggle to get them completely off.

"A-Astrid," I hear a voice say as it cracks.

"Hm?" I say kicking my pants off and rolling over to my side to get comfy.

"W-why did you do that?" I hear again. But for some reason Jack's voice changed. Like a lot.

I open my eyes to realize that jack, in fact, is not the one who put me to bed. It was Hiccup, in my room, beet red, seeing me in my underwear.

"Ha, this is awkward," I say also getting a little red.

"Um I think I'll go, get some rest Astrid see you tomorrow," He quickly leaves the room and shuts the door.

Hiccups POV

I quickly walk up the stairs  and make a b line for the door.

But Astrid's brother steps in front of me," I forgot to mention my names Jack," he said extending his hand.

I shake it and nod my head.

"Also, thanks for bringing my sister home," he says thanking me.

I once again just nod my head .

His face becomes more serious," not to assume anything but, are you trying to get with my sister," he gets in my face," cause if you don't treat her right I'll lock you in a freezer."

I widen my eyes and gulp," no, no, you got me all wrong we're just friends and she helped me out a lot today and I was just returning the favor by bringing her home."

He leans back and looks me up and down.

"Alright, well I appreciate it, have a good day." He says opening the front door for me.

"You too," I say and walk back to my house.
