Eleven

Astrid's POV

I look in the mirror one last time before rolling my eyes.

I've been trying on swim suits for the past hour and can't find one that fits and actually covers my breasts.

"Astrid have you found one yet?"

"No!" I shout back to Ruffnut.

Everyone came to the mall today to try and find some summer clothes. But all I'm looking for is a damn swimming suit.

I throw my clothes on and walk out of the dressing room with the two swimming suits I tried on.

Ruffnut sighs in frustration."You're so picky, just pick one already, we've been here for an hour."

"You can go look for yourself ya know," I say.

"You sure?"

"Yes, go," I say shooing her away.

As Ruffnut leaves me to look for swimsuits on my own I realize how I actually needed her help.

I have no idea what I look like. I don't want anything to slip out either.

I roam the store and grab a few swimsuits and try them on.

I do a spin in a few and overall decide I don't like them.

They are either way to revealing or to crazy looking.

I walk back out of the dressing room and the lady working there looked really annoyed with me.

I just give her an awkward smile and continue looking.

Hiccups POV

How did I get stuck with Snotlout?

All he's been doing is blabbering about himself and how he's 'superior'.

I roll my eyes and then spot a blonde coming towards us.

"Hey Ruffnut!" I shout waving towards her.

Thank god someone other than Snotlout

I notice my blonde missing- wait the other blonde girl who is just a friend. The feeling in my stomach starts to come back. But I shake it off as fast as it comes.

"Where's Astrid?" I ask looking at Ruffnut.

"Ugh, she's looking for swimming suits, she's driving me crazy with her beautiful body and how she hates everything she puts on." She says rolling her eyes and putting her hands on her hips.

"Where's she at? I could go help," I ask Ruffnut.

"Yeah yeah! I'll help her try them on too," Snotlout says fixing his hair with a smirk.

"Not like that snot!" I shout feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Whoa Whoa Hiccup calm down," Ruff says with a arched brow." She's in the store two stores down. Good luck with that mess."

"U-uh t-thanks," I say.

"I'm gonna keep shopping. Snot wanna come?" Ruff said looking from him to me.

Does she know!? Wait what would she know there's nothing to know...

"Hell no-"

Snotlout makes a pained face as Ruff stomps his foot and drags him away by his ear.

I watch them walk away and then start making my way to the swim store.

I walk in the doors and a lady instantly comes up to me and asks what I'm looking for.

"My friend, I'm not looking for clothing today." I say politely.

Her face instantly drops," are you friends with that blonde girl?"

I raise a brow," we might not be talking about the same blonde."

"She's been here for an hour and I can't go on my break until she leaves, so please, get her to leave." She says grabbing the collar of my shirt and pulling me close to her.

I nod my head and try to pull her hands from my collar. She eventually lets go after I assure her I'll try and get her to leave.

I scurry into the clothes to hopefully lose the lady in the store. I look back to make sure she's not following me and keep walking.

"Ouch!"

I ram my body into someone on accident and we both go down with me on top.

"I- I'm so so sorry," I say staring to apologize.

"It's fine," the woman says.

I get up and offer her my hand, she takes it and I pull her up.

"Whoa," She says as I pull her up.

"Sorry again about that," I say rubbing the back of my neck.

"It's fine, all will be forgiven," She bits her lip," if I can have your number."

"I-I um, can't," I laugh nervously. Trying to not make eye contact.

"That's to bad," she says getting close to me,"you're really cute."

I lean back and try to step back but find a clothing table in the way. She gets up into my face and I feel her breath on my neck.

"Excuse me?"

I nearly faint at the heavenly voice that has come to save me.

"Could you not invade his personal space?"

The girl turns to see who is talking to her and makes eye contact with Astrid.

"Who are you?" She asks directing her attention away from me but to Astrid.

"I'm Astrid," She says putting a hand on her hip.

Astrid and I make eye contact, she rolls her eyes," I'm his girlfriend, he's taken and not available, sorry."

I feel my heart jump out and walk out of the room.

"Oh sorry about that," the girl says being respectful of our 'relationship'.

The girl walks off and leave me and Astrid alone.

"Ha thanks Astrid," I say watching the girl leave.

I look back to Astrid and gulp.

She looks pissed off.

"What are you doing here Hiccup?" She asks crossing her arms.

"Ruff said you needed help looking for a swim suit so I offered to help." I said gulping.

Astrid's eyes grew wide and her face grew red. She looked away from me as her face got darker.

I raised a brow. Is she blushing?

"Just be glad it wasn't Snotlout, he really wanted to come." I said trying to help the situation.

"Ew," she said then turned around. Going to look for more stuff I guess.

I almost laughed at her but I stopped myself.

"I'm a small just so you know," she said looking through the racks.

Alright so I'm guessing she's going to let me help her.
