Chapter Four

Kevin De Bruyune P.O.V

Few hours after.

I looked down at the photograph of me and Lana, the one which she framed for my birthday.

Tears slowly trickled down my face as I looked at that memory.

"Honestly? The park?"She said as she let out a soft chuckle.

"Come on, let's all be kids again!"Jesus yelled as he threw his arms in the air.

Sane laughed, she closed her eyes and squinted then she opened her eyes and turned around to me. She looked at me with a smile on her face.

"Should we get the wood for the fire tonight?"She asked.

"Yeah sure."I replied with a goofy smile on my face, she had this touch on me like that. Then I looked at Kyle. "Keep your eyes on the kids."

Then she linked her arm with mine and we began to walk into the forest.

We stopped in the middle of the forest, she began to pick up lots for the fire.

"Can I ask you something Lana?"I asked with a questioning look on my face.

She looked up at me and nodded. "Yeah sure, what is it?"

"What happened with you and sane the other day?"I replied as I looked at her with a look. "Because you both are act really different towards each other."

"There's nothing, kev."

"Are you sure?"

She nodded then walked over to me with the logs in her hand. "Well I think I've picked up the most for the fire therefore I'll be having the marshmallows."

"No you don't."

There was no gap between us, I went for it.

My lips pressed against hers in such passion, they moved in sync and it was like both of us wanted more of out this.

"KEVIN! LANA!"Jesus yelled on the top of his lungs. "I THINK DONT BLINK IS GUNNA HAPPEN! DONT BLINK!"

She pulled away and let out a soft chuckle, she looked at me. "That's Jesus for us."

My hand rubbed the back of my neck and I nodded. "Yup, that's Jesus."

Inside me wanting to kill him for what he just did.

I pursed my lips with tears ran down my face with such thoughts filled up in my head.

I've fucked up things didn't I?

I shouldn't of went ahead and did all that shit to Lana.

Fuck, she always was there for me, no matter how bad I treated her.

I guess they are right, we take everything for granted then realised when it's taken away from us.

My phone pinged, I chose to ignore it because whoever it was couldn't disappear this pain I'm in.

It's like someone ripped my heart out and it was beating as they were holding it.

But did she ever feel like this?

She must of.

Fuck, all alone and She went through that pain.

I brought my head to rest on my forehead as the tears increased itself. I let out a sniff and closed my eyes, in so much mess of this pain to stop.

She looked at me with her mocha eyes and she bit her lip as my fingers slowly traced her shoulders.

"I can't believe I'm gunna say this, but I loved this."She whispered as she looked into my blue eyes.

I let out a soft chuckle and placed a kiss on her cheek. "So did I, it was amazing."

Then a smile appeared on her face but then slowly faded away. "I need to go, I really need to."

"What?"

Before I knew it, she was off the bed and getting dressed.

I looked once more at the photo then picked it up and chucked it at the wall to see the glass smashed to pieces all over the floor.

I got up and walked over to the area, I kneeled down and picked up the photo behind the broken glass.

Something that resembled my heart and soul into one.

"Why did I fall for you?"I whispered as my other hand was placed against the floor.

Before I knew it, I felt something coming from my hand.

I turned to my hand onto the floor which was soaked in blood. I looked at it, my bottom lip began to shake as I dropped the photo onto the floor.

My legs shuffled to the side then shuffled itself to the other, being oblivious to the fact of shattered glass all over the floor.

My other hand pulled out my phone from my back pocket and called the first person on my recents.

"K-Kev? Loo-"

It was Lana. I called Lana.

"I-I need your help, I've hurt myself really badly and I can't seem to move my body prop-prely."

"Fuck! What's happened? Where are you? You need to tell me kev."

"I'm at my own place, and it's a l-long story."

"Kev, I'm coming okay. I'm going to call Gabe or someone to see if they are close as well."

My breath began to shake as a pool of blood appeared just underneath my hand."O-Okay."

"I just need you to stay calm and awake."She said as I could hear her in the background picking up her keys and closed the door behind her. "Because if something happens to you, I don't think I could live with myself."She muttered, forgetting that I was on the other line.

"L-Lana?"

"Kev, I'm in my car okay. It's going to be okay, I'm gunna call Gabe to see if he's near or someone who is. I'm gunna call you straight back."

"T-There's so much b-blood."I said as my eyes focused on the blood dripping down then at sudden, I let out a groan of pain that appeared in my leg.

"What's going on? Kev?"

I looked down at my leg to see pieces of glass half inside my leg and half out. I looked at it in shock.

"Kev?"

"Kev?"

"Kev?"

"L-Lana, it isn't g-good."

Before I knew it, I saw black.
