Lana's P.O.VI quickly pulled out my keys and entered it into the keyhole as my other hand began to shake, holding my phone with it.
The door opened and I ran inside the living room to see Kev on the floor with shattered glass all over the floor.
I ran to his side, only to see his eyes closed. I placed my finger against his pulse to see it was faint, I placed my hand on his cheek as I looked at him. "Kev?"
There was no answer, I quickly looked down at my phone and dialled 999. I turned over my shoulder to see puddles of blood by his hand and down by his leg.
Fuck, he must of passed out because of the sight of blood.
In the middle of this all, I saw a photo of me and Kev.
That was it wasn't it?
I caused him all of this.
"999, what is your emergency?"A voice spoke up from my phone as I held it against my ear.
"M-My friend has gotten hurt really badly, there is glass stuck into his lower leg and his hand is dripping in b-blood."I explained as I looked at Kev and silently praying he would be okay. "It's really bad, the blood isn't stopping along with it he's fainted but his pulse is very weak."
"Okay, the ambulance will be on the way as soon as possible."The lady replied over the phone. "Can you try to wake him up?"
"I can but I just don't know."
I placed the phone call onto speaker and placed it on the sofa, above kev's head and looked at Kev.
"Kev? I need you to wake up right now."
"Look Kev, if you don't wake up right now, I swear I'm going to throw cold water on you."
"Kev, I'm gunna steal your new phantom trainers."
I touched his cheek and pulled them as well but there was no response.
"Has he responded?"The lady asked over the phone.
I let out a sigh. "No he hasn't, when is the ambulance coming? He's losing a lot of blood."
"They are on the way, have you tried stopping the blood?"
"I'm going to do that now."
I quickly got up and ran into the kitchen, I grabbed tea towels and ran back into the living room.
Then I thought, fuck it's glass. It's gone into his hand, fuck...
"I can't stop the blood!"I replied in an panicky tone."H-His hand has glass in them."
Then I heard the doorbell, I kissed his cheek and ran to the door.
I opened the door to see the paramedics stood there, I looked at them with tears brimming in my eyes. "He's in the l-living room, you have th h-help him."
The paramedic looked at me and placed his hand against my arm. "Your husband will be okay."He said as the other paramedic ran into the living room. "Just don't panic."
"H-He isn-"I cut myself, not having the energy to deny it and he walked into the living room.
I stood by the doorway as tears ran down my face, as I watched the paramedics do their thing.
The paramedic ran outside and came back out with a stretcher. Before I knew it, Kev was on the stretcher.
The paramedic looked at me. "You can come with us in the ambulance."She said.
I nodded, I walked in and grabbed my phone to see that call ended ages ago and grabbed my bag.
Then we left.
-
I looked at Jesus's number, the tears rolled down my face non stop.
Should I call him? Should I not?
My phone began to ring to see it was my boss, I quickly answered it.
"Lana? Where are you? You are supposing to be ref the Chelsea vs Everton match today!"He said over the phone in such strict tone.
"I-I'm in the h-hospital. I can't make it to the game, can you get someone e-else?"
"Really Lana? What's going on?"
"Just a family member is in h-hospital and I c-can't make it."I replied with an exhausted sigh. "Come on, Julio you can get someone else?"
"This game was a headline mainly part because you were referring."Julio said over the phone and let out a sigh. "It's fine, I'll sort it. I hope your family member gets better."
Then the call ended.
I looked at Jesus's number, I let out a deep breath and just ready to call him.
A sugueron appeared in front of me, in scrubs. He let out a sigh. "He lost a lot of blood and he's managed to get Sepsis."
"I-Is he going to be o-okay though?"I replied with my tone ever so shaky.
"We've managed to get all the glass out and we've patched him up."He said as his hands entered his pocket. "Only time will tell if he'll have movement in his hand."
"O-Okay, can I S-see him please?"
"Once he's out of recovery."He replied with a nod then looked at me with a look. "Aren't you that female refree?"
I looked at him. "Yes I am. What do you want? A photo? An autograph? Or let me guess, a story to sell? Adding in more spice by saying me and Kevin de Bruyune are together?"
He looked at me with a shocked look. "I-I didn't me-"
I cut him off. "I'm sorry, it's just been a stressful evening turning into the night."
"I get it."He said with a nod. "It's ward 2 he'll be in, you should get up in there now."
I nodded and left, I stood outside the room the nurse told me he was in.
I looked in the window to see a reflection of myself, my hair such a mess which represents what my life is now.
A mess.
A mess.
I looked down at my hands then looked up, I took a deep breath and let it out.
Here goes nothing now.
