Hannah's P.O.V"You are okay aren't you?"Joel whispered as he rested his hand on my thigh.
I looked up at him, I plastered a smile on my face and nodded. "I'm good."
"You are lying."
"I'm not, trust me, I'm good."
He nodded, then we both looked up to see Laporte stood there giving the best man speech as Jesus was next to him.
"I really do like you Hannah."Jesus stated as he looked at me in awe. "You see me for me and not everyone does, you understand."
I let out a soft chuckle. "What can I say? I'm an understanding person."
"With you, it's different."He said as he took a hold of my hand. "From the moment I saw you, I knew my heart found its home."
"You've got very poetic."I said as my cheeks heated to the colour red.
He brought his lips closer and brushed his lips against mine, I pulled away and looked at him. "Aren't you with someone?"
"I ended it with her, she isn't you."He said as he looked at me with a sincere look.
I nodded, he pressed his lips against my ever so passionately and then it progressed itself.
"I want to go."I whispered as I let out a sigh.
I couldn't even go to Madrid until all of this was done, I was even staying in his house and he just looked at me ever so differently.
Joel looked at me. "We will after the courses are finished."
I nodded.
Erick looked at me and smiled. "Are you okay Hannah?"
"Yeah, of course I'm okay."I replied with a chuckle.
To see him so happy made my heart swell, he's my brother and he would always get his heart broken by everyone.
But seeing him with Lana, it's different. It is like he's found his muse and it's brought him back to life and that's all I need to know that everything was going to be okay.
I placed my hand on my bump, I slept rubbed my bump as everyone was talking.
Then Jesus walked over to our table, he looked at me and smiled. "How's the food going? Enjoying it Hannah?"
"I don't think lemon curd and lavender is a good combination."I replied as I rolled my eyes at him.
"Hannah is right, lemon curd and lavender doesn't really fit right in."Chris said as he looked at him with a confused look.
"I'll fix that up for you guys don't worry."Jesus said with a nod.
Then he left.
Same way he left me.
-
I opened the door of my room and walked out of my room, I closed the door behind me slowly so Joel wouldn't wake up.
I walked to the stairs and slowly tip toe downstairs, I walked into the kitchen.
The craving of salsa was getting me and I really needing it.
I walked to the fridge and opened the fridge door, I picked up the salsa and got myself a spoon as I walked to the bar.
I sat down on the stool, I popped the lid off the salsa with and excited smile on my face.
Ready to eat this.
I looked down at my bump. "You ready baby girl?"I whispered.
"Hannah? Why are you awake at this time?"Jesus said as he appeared in front of me, topless and in a pair of shorts.
I looked at him. "I-I could ask you the same thing."
"But I asked you first."He said as he walked over to the wall and turned on the lights.
He walked back over to me, he stood in front of me. "Well? And why are you eating salsa like that for?"
"Jesus, shouldn't you be upstairs with your wife? After all, it is your wedding night."I replied as I rolled my eyes at him.
"Are you pregnant?"Jesus asked as he looked at me.
"What is it to you anyway?"
"Just tell me Hannah."
"Yes I'm."I replied with an annoyed tone. "You finally figured it out, you are a genius."
"Who's is it?"
"Why are you asking me questions for?"I said with a frustrated sigh. "It's nothing to do with you at all."
"Maybe because I'm your friend and I'm worried about you."
"First of all, you aren't not my friend. You acted like you were then you acted like you loved me."I explained with a harsh tone. "You really don't know the defition of friend, I suggest you get a dictionary to find out what it means. Second of all, women have kids all the time and every mintue a baby is born therefore it isn't a big deal."
"So leave me alone to eat my salsa on my own without your judgment."I added as I rolled my eyes at him.
"That's a big ass speech."
"It had to be big ass speech for you ugly ass to understand it."
"It's mine isn't it?"Jesus said as he looked at me. "You look like you are about six months and we did it si-"
I cut him off. "Just shut up, not everyone knows and it isn't yours."
"Hannah, I know you and I know when you are lying."Jesus said as he let out a sigh. "Just tell me."
"Fine, it's yours."I said as I let out a frustrated groan. "It's yours and when I tell everyone, I'm going to say it's Joel so no one finds out about it."
"Does Joel know?"
"Obviously he knows."I replied as I rolled my eyes at him once more. "He was the first person to know and he's the one who's going to be the father to my child."
"What about me?"
"You go ahead and enjoy your life with Marielle."I replied as I picked up the spoon. "We don't really need you, we've got everything we need. We've got plans too which don't include you."
"What?"
"You got Marielle, you decided to marry her, no one forced you too."I said simply as I looked at him. "Therefore no one is going to force you to be in my child's life and I prefer you don't because in the end, you are going to give me the shit. We are better off without you."
"Do you really think that?"
I nodded. "You go enjoy life with Marielle, I'll enjoy mine."
He nodded then turned around and made it for the door.
"Jesus?"
He turned over his shoulder and looked at me. "What?"
"Thank you though."
"For what?"
I put my arms around my bump. "For giving me something so great."
He nodded then left the kitchen, I looked at my salsa with an excited look, ready to eat it
