Chapter Eight

Four years after.

Lana's P.O.V

"I told you, didn't I?"Halayna said with a chuckle as she nudged me.

I rolled my eyes playfully at her then we carried on walking to our office. She sat herself on her seat and on her phone.

I walked over to our mini fridge and pulled out a pattie then put it in the microwave to warm itself.

My back leaned against the surface as I looked at her, a massive smile grew on her face then she looked up at me.

"What?"She said as she let out a chuckle.

"It's actually really amazing that you finally got everything after everything."I replied with a smile on my face. "I always knew you could do it."

"Thanks and so can you, if I can deal with Zabdiel's snores; it defiantly means you can do the impossible as well." She said as she looked at me with a gentle look.

I rolled my eyes at her once again then the microwave pinged, I turned around and pulled out my pattie.

I turned back around and took a bite out of it, Halayna looked at me with a disbelief look. "You warmed up a pattie for yourself but not for me?"

I shrugged my shoulders and took another bite out of my pattie."Didn't know you wanted one."

"Well I did just deal with Raf's knee as you sat there and laughed at his pain."She said in a disbelief tone.

"Come on, you were laughing too."I added with a wink.

She rolled her eyes at me then Raf and Sergio walked into the office, they both looked at us. "Mi two favourite chicaa."Sergio said with a massive grin on his face.

Raf looked at Halayna with a look, something she never used to notice at all.

But I knew that look.

Because I used to have that look on my face for someone.

She isn't doing it on purpose.

Halayna looked at them and smiled."Hey chicos!"

Then her phone began to ring, she looked at us, I nodded for her to take it and she walked out of the room with her phone held to her ear.

I looked at Raf."Maybe you should consider to tell her now."

Raf looked at me with a confused look."What?"

"We all know you are in love with her."Sergio said as he looked at him then picked up my packet of crisps and began to munch on them."Come on, I had a crush on her but you should tell her."

"She's with Zabdiel, she's in love with him and it's something she hasn't had for long."Raf said as he let out a sigh. "I don't want to destroy that happiness with him and her. They both are my friends."

"But your feelings raf, I've been there. You should say it; maybe it'll hurt but it gives you the indication to move on."I said as I looked at him with a hopeful look."It helps."

"That's the thing, it's feelings, it'll disappear."Raf said as he shook his head to the side.

"I get that, like her and Zabdi have been coming on strong for almost two years but still."Sergio added in.

"I can't."Raf said as his hand ran through his hair. "I can't do that."

"I swear you are just like Joel, he's doing the same thing."I muttered under my breath.

Halayna is my best friend for the last four years, when we met it was like we knew each from before. She hasn't had the best similar to me but her was worse but we knew each other and connected in an instant. We both came at the same time to Madrid and we've just enjoyed it together along with our other crazy friend Hannah.

Then we met few other people as well, and she's just amazing. That's why everyone always ends up having a crush on her because of her personality, and how she is.

She's my best friend and I'm proud of it.

I looked at raf and took another bite out of my pattie. "Do whatever you want but you are going to ended up like my pattie." And I took another bite out of it and I finished it. "Gone."

Raf rolled his eyes."Gee, Gracias for that ref."

"De nada."

Sergio looked at me."Well, lets see whose tears we will be drying up this time now."
