"Anyway, how old is this shit?" Tyler put his attention onto the old record player that was next to his bed frame.
"It was my dad's. It's like, 15 years old, but it works."
Tyler was so intrigued, he began to look through the records that were placed neatly underneath the player.
"Donald Byrd is crazy," Tyler was excited, skimming through some records he had listened to before.
"And this Michael Jackson record is fucking amazing."
"I know, one of my favorites."
"No fucking way," Tyler held up a Justin Timberlake record, "Justified! I fucking love this album dude," Tyler flipped it to the other side, his fingers trailing through the different songs as he pointed out his favorites.
"Let's Take a Ride is my favorite right now." He smiled at Wyatt.
"No way, it's mine too. It's a whole bridge. The melody is gorgeous." Wyatt reclined himself on the wall.
They talked about other albums and their favorite songs as Tyler tried putting on a Kelis record on the player.
"Like this," Wyatt took it from T's hands, flipping it over as he set it on the table.
"Let me try." T let himself grab it as he began to place the record on it. There wasn't anything playing though.
"Here," Wyatt took Tyler's fingers in his as he helped him place it on the right spot; then, like magic, Sugar Honey Iced Tea began to fill the room.
Tyler was blushing, but it wasn't noticeable, something he was secretly thankful for.
They looked through more records before Tyler noticed the pictures on the wall by the door that he hadn't noticed before.
"Woah, you haven't showed me those!" Tyler made his way over, putting his hands in his pockets as his eyes trailed the photographs that Wyatt had put up.
"These are like, most of my favorites i've taken so far."
Tyler looked at each of them intently, faces of random strangers on the street, places, old cars Wyatt had come across, different inanimate objects that were placed in various settings and lightings.
"Shit." Wyatt breathed, as he quickly took down two pictures before Tyler got a chance to see them. It wasn't long before T began to pry at him.
"What are those?"
"Nothing."
"Now you have to fucking show me!" Tyler laughed, getting closer as Wyatt backed up.
"Uhh," Wyatt hid the pictures behind his back, biting his bottom lip.
Tyler pried, trying to take the picture out of Wyatt's hands, but with no avail.
"Let me see that shit."
"No." Wyatt smirked.
Tyler suddenly pushed him onto the wall behind him, he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
"You don't have a choice, Fruity Boy." Tyler was serious, something Wyatt noticed which made him stop smirking.
Tyler suddenly took his hands behind Wyatt's back, trying to get a hold of them. Wyatt laughed, running on the bed as he jumped, raising the pictures above his head as Tyler followed him up onto the bed, too.
With one swift jump, Tyler pulled the pictures from his hand, jumping quickly off the bed into the corner.
He turned the pictures over, he was caught in surprise. It was a picture of him at Kali's party, when Wyatt told him to think of something funny, in which T replied with something Jasper had done that night. It was vivid in his memory."What the fuck?" Tyler examined it, before turning to the second picture.
It was a picture of him riding his bike in the sunset, it was pretty, but T had no recollection of when he saw Wyatt take it.
"You taking secret pictures of me, fruity boy?" Tyler turned around, raising the second picture next to him. He seemed angry. Wyatt bit his lip.
"It was a moment I wanted to take. You didn't see me, I took it out of my window. Look, I'm sorry–,"
Tyler's eyes softened as he looked down at the picture again. It was gorgeous. He didn't want to admit how much he loved it; fuck, he was thinking too much about it.
"Whatever. Just let me know next time."
Tyler brushed it off, as he threw them on the bed. Wyatt sat on the edge of the bed, as T opened the door, a hand in his pocket as he began to leave, with no words left to say.
He let Tyler leave, not following behind or saying anything to stop him.
Wyatt took the pictures in his hands, looking at them intently. He was still completely fascinated by them for some reason. He loved T's gap in the first picture, and he admired how unapologetic he was. He wasn't going to admit it though.Tyler on the other hand, hated feeling vulnerable. He didn't like the feelings he was getting. He began to feel like Wyatt had some type of power over him, something that he's never felt before. Once again, he swore he'd never admit it.
