Tyler tried his best all weekend to hide his love marks on his neck. His hoodie was always up and tied on his neck so it was never visible. It was Monday morning, and he inspected it one last time in the mirror.

"Shit,"

It was darker and even more bruised. What the fuck? T sighed, he had to be extra careful today around everyone, that was for sure.

...

"I just don't get it. How the fuck do you do it?" Taco asked Rocky about his one night stand with the girl he met at the mall Friday night.

"Ladies love me man," Rocky laughed, Taco scoffed.

The bell rang, thank god it was time for lunch.

"Y'all getting lunch?" Tyler asked, as they all began to walk towards the cafeteria.

"Yeah nigga, i'm starving," Jasper replied.

Tyler nodded, him and Rocky sat in an empty table as they waited for the rest of them to get lunch.

"What happened with Jorja? Y'all still on break?" Tyler eyed her and Kali as they talked a couple of tables away.

"I don't know, I haven't talked to her. She's getting boring nigga," Rocky bit his lip.

"What? You were so fucking obsessed with her."

"Yeah, then. Now it's different. Who knows though," Rocky started.

They began talking about school and Tyler's punishment—the whole not being able to go to prom. For some reason everyone was actually planning on going this time, which made him feel out of it.

They talked and soon, Tyler completely forgot about his mark.

"Yeah—Nigga, what the fuck is that?" Rocky eyed T's neck.

"What?"

"Bro, when the fuck did you get a hickey?!" Rocky laughed, he couldn't of have said it any louder.

Tyler covered it up again, looking around to make sure no one saw.

"Shut the fuck up, damn. It's nothing—,"

"Yeah whatever. Where did you get that? who?"

Tyler rolled his eyes as the rest of the guys sat around the table.

"Yo, T was tryna hide his fucking hickey this whole time!" Rocky laughed, as they all began to question him again.

"Fuck, this is why I didn't wanna say anything."

"Nigga who was it though?" Taco laughed.

"Oh shit. It was that one girl you said was pretty. That girl at the mall! Remember?!" Rocky pushed Jaspers shoulders as they all began to remember again.

Tyler sighed in relief.

"Was it her?" Taco asked again.

Tyler nodded, looking away. He tried to be as nonchalant as possible.

"Damn! Why is everyone getting pussy but me nigga?!" Jasper sighed as he took a bite out of his pizza.

Tyler laughed before noticing someone coming towards him angrily from across the lunchroom.

"Shit, shit." Tyler spat.

"What?" They all turned to where Tyler's eyes trailed.

"Wyatt's girlfriend. Shit I forgot they were still together,"

"Shit, you better run bruh," Rocky laughed.

Before he could, she made it to the table, crossing her arms in front of him.

"Uh, hey Amanda," Tyler tried to look away, but it was impossible to not make it awkward.

"We need to talk." She was pissed.

"Aight. We can talk after lunch."

"No. We need to talk. Now."

Tyler sighed, getting up and following her outside of the cafeteria.

They went behind a tree, they weren't really visible.

"Amanda, I said I was sorry,"

"Do you fucking realize what you've done? And this whole time to think that you were Wyatt's so called, 'best friend.' You fucked him over. You were only using him, huh?"

"Amanda, what the fuck are you saying-,"

"He's been saving your ass. He convinced the principal to let you go. He even saved you from his own fucking parents. I mean, I don't even understand why he cares about you so fucking much,"

"Because he's my best friend. Why the fuck else wouldn't he?"

She was mad.

"I need you to stay as far away from him as possible. I don't want you to see him, talk to him, anything."

Tyler scoffed.

"Why the fuck would I do that?"

"Because if you don't, i'll tell his parents it was you."

Tyler stopped in his tracks, realizing he could lose everything he's built with Wyatt.

She began to leave.

"Amanda wait. You can't fucking do that. I've known him longer than you have."

"So? His parents fucking love me. They'd believe anything I tell them."

"That's not fucking fair."

"Nothing is," She fake smiled, "So stay the fuck away from him."

He pulled her arm back once again.

"Wait. How am I supposed to stop talking to him if he's the one calling me? I can't do that."

"It's easy. Just tell him he doesn't mean anything to you and i'm sure he'll leave you alone, Tyler. It's not that hard." The smile she gave him made his blood boil.

She walked away, just like that. He couldn't have contact with Wyatt. All these thoughts came through his head. He wasn't ready. Fuck.

"Hey," His friends walked over, watching Amanda leave.

"What the fuck was that?" Rocky asked, handing Tyler his bag.

"Nah, nothing. Don't worry about it."

They nodded, making their way to class.
