Two weeks went by, they were enjoying every minute of it. Tyler blew off his friends to hang out with Wyatt almost every time he had the chance. He wanted to make up for lost time.

"This place is crazy," Wyatt looked up at the decor in the restaurant.

"It's where rich people come to eat the best sushi." Tyler smiled.

The host came over, leading them to a secluded table in the back. Everything was lightly dimmed and so elegant.

Tyler sat in front of Wyatt.

"Any drinks for you?" The waiter came over. She was a tall, pretty brunette with glasses. Wyatt looked up at her and for a brief moment they shared eye contact.

"Waters for both of us." T cut in abruptly.

"Sure, I'll be right back," She gave Wyatt a slight smile.

"She's your type huh?" Tyler teased.

"Nah, she just reminded me of Amanda."

"I hate her."

Wyatt smiled, blushing lightly.

Somehow the dark ambient lighting made the date seem much more intense. They were both nervous. Tyler didn't let it show.

The waiter brought over their waters.

"Anything to get you started?"

Wyatt looked down at the menu unsure.

"Uh," Tyler looked at the table next to them. An older white couple who looked rich; their fancy clothes and jewelry said it all.

"We'll just get whatever they're having," Tyler signaled over at them.

"Okay, is that it?"

Tyler nodded, immediately placing their menus to the side.

"T, I can't afford this shit," Wyatt whispered.

"It's on me."

"I'll pay you back."

"You don't have to."

Wyatt sighed.

...

Once the food came they were presented with a platter of different sushi's along with fancy caviar and sauces.

"Holy shit," Tyler became wide eyed.

"Fuck, I've never had anything like this before."

"Here," T opened up some chopsticks next to him, splitting them so they became two.

He began to show Wyatt how to pick up each sushi and dip it in sauce.

Wyatt followed, following his exact steps. When he went to put it in the dipping sauce, the sushi ended up falling in.

"Fuck," Wyatt cursed.

Tyler laughed.

"Damn, I'm gonna have to feed you this whole time," He grabbed some sushi with the utensils and placed it in front of Wyatt to eat.

"How is it?" he asked.

"So good," he smiled, covering his mouth as he chewed.

"I didn't know you were so into sushi."

"I used to hate it. Then Kali brought me here a few months back and it's like the best thing ever to me."

They talked, laughed and ate; Wyatt finally began to get the hang of using chopsticks.

"I'm so fucking full." Tyler sat back.

"Here's the check, thanks for coming," the girl smiled at Wyatt, not a single look at Tyler.

"She's so into you," Tyler opened up the check.

Wyatt shook his head nonchalantly.

"Whats the bill?"

"Uh, 85." Tyler looked up.

"Shit...so I'll owe you like, 40 something."

Tyler looked over at the exit, biting the inside of his cheek.

"Nah. On three we run as fast as we can through the exit, then keep running until we pass that last block."

Wyatt's mouth fell agape. He had no time to react.

"...two...three!"

Tyler and Wyatt ran through the restaurant, startling everyone around them. Wyatt trailed behind. Tyler's breath hitched as they got to the end of the block, their adrenaline pumping through the roof.

"Fuck," Tyler came to a stop.

He hunched over as he tried to catch his breath. Wyatt laid himself on the grass, panting.

"I can't believe you made me do that," Wyatt said in between breaths.

"Nigga, you really think I had sushi money?" Tyler laughed, "I knew you wouldn't have came if I told you we would run out after."

"I hate you," Wyatt chuckled.

They got up, walking up towards a small lake in the middle of the affluent neighborhood.

"Imagine growing up here," Wyatt looked around.

Huge houses, beautiful trees adorned the gated community.

"Man, it'd be a whole different story," Tyler shrugged.

They sat near the edge of the lake. They've been coming here for the past week after realizing it could be their perfect hiding spot. No one from where they lived ever came around here; this was rich people territory. It felt fun to escape the reality.

Wyatt placed his head on Tyler's lap, T caressing his fingers through his curls. The dark brown hue was his favorite.

Tyler admired Wyatt's features under the sun. He noticed Wyatt struggling to keep his eyes open due to the sun; so T proceeded to move a little to block the it. It was the little things Wyatt appreciated.

"I wanna stay here forever." Wyatt interrupted.

"Then stay. At UCLA. We could see each other every other day."

"It's not that easy. Columbia's offering me whole lot more than here."

Tyler sighed, staying silent. Of course he wanted the best for Wyatt, but it was hard to know he'd be so far away.

Wyatt noticed his change in attitude and got up, gently placing his hands on Tyler's cheek. He reached in, leaving a small kiss on his lip. Tyler reacted, kissing him once more.

"I'm still thinking about it." Wyatt replied.
