Tyler looked around his room, wiping his eyes.

"What the fuck?"

He got up, checking his phone. He didn't remember much from last night. He was way too tired to think through everything. His eyes darted through all the notifications on his phone from last night.

u didn't even bother to let me know u left last night? wow
-Kali, 9:40 am

nigga where the fuck are you?
-Taco, 3:45 am

so ur not gonna answer me?
-kali, 10:03 am

fuck.

Tyler sighed, hopping into the shower, leaving everyone on read.
He began to think about last night. After Wyatt took pictures of him, he ended up hitching a ride with Wyatt on his bike. Tyler held on to him as Wyatt rode it. They talked about stupid things they saw at the party and how much they hated the taste of alcohol. Another thing they had in common. Tyler grinned to himself as the memories began to rush back.

"What are you doing?" Wyatt asked, as Tyler hopped onto the back of the bike, gripping on to Wyatt's shoulders.

"You're gonna give me a ride home," Tyler said.

"You're not going to watch your girlfriend? what about your friends?" Wyatt replied, confused.

"They're passed out. I'm tired as fuck. We live on the same block anyway," Tyler looked down at Wyatt's curls, "let's just get the fuck outta here."

Wyatt stayed silent, acknowledging T's words without a doubt.

They rode home, laughing at things they had seen at the party.

"It's crazy how stupid niggas are," Tyler began, "like, they'll do anything to fit in. Fucking stupid."

"Aren't your friends like that though?"

"Nah. They're just stupid."

"And mean." Wyatt said, they both let out a small chuckle.

They got closer to their block, finally arriving. It was dead silent, some crickets chirped in the background.

Wyatt stopped at T's house, they both hopped off the bike.

"Thanks," Tyler said, punching Wyatt lightly on his shoulder.

"Mhmm."

Wyatt fidgeted with his fingers before asking a question. His heart was pounding out of his chest. You could almost hear it.

"Why are you being so nice to me?"

Tyler shrugged.

"You take cool pictures."

Wyatt let out another laugh.

"Your hair's kinda cool too. Like waves." Tyler let his hand graze Wyatt's curls. Wyatt pushed his hand off, the sudden hand contact began to make him blush. Soon, Wyatt's cheeks were blood red.
In his attempt to make it less noticeable, he looked down at the ground, picking up his bike as he adjusted his curls.

Tyler noticed his cheeks, and smiled to himself. He started walking back home, looking back one last time, Wyatt was already gone.

Tyler got out of the shower, and wiped the dampened mirror with his hand. He stared at his reflection, confused about what he began to feel. He replayed last night's memories with Wyatt again and again. It was so new. He knew he had met someone special; but T wasn't ready to admit it.

"Tyler! friends are outside!" T's mom caught him off guard, yelling from outside.

"Fuck," He sighed, quickly changing and heading out.

Taco, Jasper, and Rocky all stood outside, each looking even more tired than the other.

"Nigga, where the fuck have you been?" Taco asked in an angry tone.

"For real, we was looking all over for you last night! Who the fuck did you go home with?" Rocky joined.

"Fruity boy was gone when you was gone too–," Jasper was cut off.

"Damn! Y'all niggas need to fucking calm down," He grabbed his skateboard and placed it on the ground. "I was tired as fuck so I went home. Fuck."

"With who?" Taco pressed.

"Fruity boy." Jasper laughed.

"He had a fucking bike so I told him to take me home. So? Y'all niggas so uptight."

"Kali was worried as fuck nigga." Rocky stammered.

"Whatever. She's getting annoying as fuck. It's boring."

"How the fuck is Kali annoying? She's just looking out for–,"

"If you're so fucking pressed then you take her. Damn. You can have her." Tyler cut Taco off.

"Nigga i'm just saying,"

"Nah. Stop fucking pressing me."

"Aight. Just calm down," Taco said, his hands up in defense.

"So we all had a rough ass night huh?" Rocky laughed.

"Not me. I kissed Roxanne. Well kinda—," Jasper said, grinning.

"Nigga she was drunk as shit and thought you was her mans. She slapped you right after." Taco said, everyone started laughing loud as fuck.

Tyler loosened up.

From the corner of his eye he noticed Wyatt biking as he got closer. Tyler's eyes lingered on him as he rode past. Wyatt looked over, their eyes meeting for a slight second before Wyatt disappeared into the distance.
