'hey logy, theres a cookie left.'
patton wrote on the notepad he is holding. logan looked at the notepad and thought for a moment before handing the jar to patton, who looked at him with a puzzled expression.
"you need it more than i do. i got my fair share of sweets." logan said. patton hesitantly looked at the jar and then carefully took out the last cookie from it. he then scribbled 'thanks' on the notepad with a smiley face before eating the cookie.
watching the younger boy eat somehow made logan feel some kind of warmth in his heart. he couldn't help but smile for a bit at how cute patton looked as he nibbled on the chocolate chip cookie.
'all done! thank you logy!' patton wrote on the notepad after he finished eating the cookie. logan, reluctantly forcing back his blank expression, simply nodded before sealing the cookie jar and putting it on the table next to them.

"so, how were you? where have you been?" logan asked patton, who seemed to blank out for a second before retaining his usual, cheery expression.
'i was out of town, silly! remember when i said that i had to leave because my family got a new house?' he wrote on post-it note that he held. logan paused for a moment before nodding, remembering so.
"right. anyways, virgil and roman are here as well. they might want to see you after all these years." logan then said. patton's eyes seemed to sparkle for a moment when he squealed in excitement.
'of course! where are they?' he hastily wrote on the same post-it note he used awhile ago.
logan scanned their surroundings in search of virgil and roman. not surprisingly, they weren't difficult to spot.
the two were somehow at the erotic novels section, seemingly having a childish banter like usual, except virgil's face was blushing red, like as if roman said something embarassing or very suggestive. the emo teen still tried to keep a serious expression on.
logan sighed and approached the two. he then pulled them away from the said section by the ears like a mother catching her children causing trouble and brought them to patton. patton looked surprised for a moment before pulling virgil and roman into a hug. the two looked overwhelmed and confused.
the two awkwardly looked at logan, who simply mouthed the words 'old friend' to them. roman looked further bewildered while virgil seemed to get the gist of it.
patton then pulled away from the hug and faced the two. almost immediately, he scribbled down his post-it note pad and gave the note he wrote on to virgil and roman.
'omg! i can't believe it's you two! its been years!
haha, you two haven't changed at all also!
virgil, still my same dark strange son
and roman, the same disney fanatic since elementary!'
it read.
roman made an 'oh' sound in realization as to who is in front of them right now. virgil simply smiled and scratched the back of his head, fully remembering as well.
"patton, i'm so glad you're back! me and virgil missed you." roman said with a happy expression. patton wrote on the post-it note once more.
'so glad my back is what? also, i missed you two too!'
