its already night now in the town, yet its still noisy.
these nights lately, alot of the people continously sang in karaokes that were placed at their front porch and laughed joyously as they feasted on various foods they cooked.
despite the annoying feeling logan felt, he always found it like a means of passing through the days and a way to enjoy life to its fullest.
logan sat alone on a bench at a sidewalk not too far from the homes in the town, next to him a lit lamp post.
the intellect loved the quiet and peaceful as it always helped him clear his mind. it sang to him like some kind of silent serenade that would sometimes nearly drive him to sleep. as much as he wanted to drift off to a deep slumber, he needed to stay awake and wait.
wait for someone.
logan closed his eyes and kept wary of his surroundings, hearing every little noise around him and taking note of them.
soon, he heard the scrunching sound of shoes that walked on the sidewalk he is in, getting near him with each step. with a smile, he opened his eyes, which were greeted by familliar, blue eyes.
"patton."
logan said with happiness in his tone. the mute smiled and held up a piece of paper that said 'the one and only'. patton then sat next to logan with cat plush in his arms, and his usual grey cat scarf wrapped around his neck. he then began to write something on the pad of post-it notes that he has.
'since when you were waiting for me?'
"...ever since you left." logan simply said with a tear falling from his eye, which was then wiped away by patton's thumb. the intellect's smile then fell as he slowly broke down into a silent cry as patton pulled him gently into a hug, letting him soak his shoulder with his tears.
patton then broke the hug and made the intellect look at him in the eyes as he took off his scarf and wrapped it around logan's neck and placed a crown of blue flowers on his head before writing something.
'please, don't be sad for me. i want to see you happy. i want to see your smile. that's all i simply wish. can you do that?'
logan silently nodded and weakly smiled. patton then wrote something again and showed it before gently closing the intellect's eyes.
'thank you, logan."
and at that, the flowers on his head got blown away by the wind.

"logan. logan, wake up." virgil shook the intellect awake, whose eyes fluttered open slowly with sadness.
"he was there." logan uttered, a broken expression settling on his face.
virgil sadly smiled. "wish he was here as well. now come, i made breakfast."
logan sat up and nodded, getting off the bed and following emo downstairs. down the stairs, he longed seeing the familliar smile of patton waiting for them from the kitchen.
