"aren't you totally not supposed to be with your friends, especially with that.. patton person? dee questioned.

"i should be, yes. but i figured they can be fine on their own for this day." logan responded simply. he knew well that he was supposed to see the others in the cafeteria that time.

"oh, but won't it upset their feelings?" the silver-tongue further asked. logan sighed and responded something that betrayed his own emotions on the matter.

"feelings are the bane of my existence."

the words came out cold and emotionless, like he intended. the catch is that it made a heavy weight fall upon his chest. it was so easy to say yet felt so difficult. i guess to pay the price of trying to keep his emotions down is the pain in his chest. the difficulty to breathe.

Wish I could be there for ya

Give me a reason to go

'why did he have to be so late?'  he asked himself.

'why didn't he just say he loved him sooner?'

with tears in his eyes and light cuts on his hands, he continued on digging through the large pile of soil made by the landslide.

he already knew there was no way patton could've survived yet why was his heart is still telling him to keep searching?

despair took over his actions as he continued finding something he knew he would never get back.
