days and nights passed, the two childhood friends felt themselves reconnect, fixing an unseen, once withering bond. everything felt so right once more, perfect even.
it felt like nothing could keep them apart or break them down.
it felt there was no fog that needed to be cut.
it felt like there will be no storm coming to stop the calm.
then again, who's to say that everything stays that way?
amidst the peace, a shadow lurked, only to show itself to a certain person at a certain place and time. the shadow only wanted to finally get something that he wants, even just for once.
after all, is it too much to find and have someone all for yourself, when you've been denied of choice for almost the rest of your life?
