he was so blind that he didn't see this coming.
he never asked this to happen but he can't just go back to undo everything.
it pained him to see the person he loved just lying on the bed, bandages all over his arms with the color of blood and gauze noticeable underneath them. he never imagined to see the mute so helpless and nearly lifeless. it was like his own soul wanted to part from his own body just at the sight of it.
there was a big difference between the patton he saw last night from the one that is lying next to him now.
logan forced the tears in his eyes to not spill as he glanced at the note that is now in his hands. he feared unfolding the letter and reading it, knowing it would further break his heart.
breaking down into tears was something he never did with anyone around, except his mother, who is not even present.
he then looked back at patton and thought for some time. thought whether should he read the letter or not.
soon, he came to the conclusion that he would read it. just for patton.
hesitantly, he unfolded the nearly crumpled up letter and started to read.
