Everyday it was the same deal, Erin would be there until the moment Sierra showed up. After the first few days, Sierra stopped asking. Hurt coursed through her everyday at lunch, but it slowly dulled into a slight ache in her heart. She didn't know what she had done to Erin, but it had obviously been something terrible.

Not only that, but her soulmate had not responded. It was now around Thanksgiving, and she was thankful for her soulmate. She always had been.

"Where are you?" Sierra whispered.

She grabbed a red pen and started to draw a rose, just like her soulmate had done. She pulled up the image of Ri's rose on her phone and followed along the lines. Sierra didn't draw the veins on the leaves, and she simply shaded them in.

Sierra took a pink G2 and colored in the rose with individual lines. She put the pens on the desk and leaned back into her pillows. She wrote the letter "S" in red and closed her eyes, but reopened them a moment later as she felt a tingle on her arm.

She looked down at her arm and tears welled in her eyes at what she saw. For the first time in several years, Sierra Carlton cried.
