When Sierra didn't respond Erin sighed to herself. What a mistake she had made.
Never mind. Don't worry about it.
She turned her light off and got into her bed to finally go to sleep. She didn't receive any more messages.

It was finally time to go on vacation with her friends, and she was surprised that her parents let her do it in the first place, but Erin was hella excited. A notification came from her phone.

Be the Best Like No One Ever Was
I'm readyShe unlocked her phone to respond, smiling at the nicknames she had given them. They all had to rhyme, except for Ryan's, but cyan was close. Zach's, Jake's, and Matt's on the other hand, were satisfactory.

Erin shut off her phone and sighed. "I should organize things better, and remind them more often about what I have organized." She thought back to everything she had planned. She had called to make arrangements with Sebastian, although she technically had to arrange it with his parents, but he said he'd talk to them for her so that was done. Check. She had explained to all of her friends' parents what they would be doing and assured them that nothing dangerous would happen. Check.
She turned to look at her backpack. Her stuff was packed. Check.
They had a car? Check.
Jake was available to drive? Check.
She grabbed her bag and walked down the stairs. Her parents were sitting at the dining room table, and they looked up as Erin walked down the stairs.
Her mother smiled. "All ready, sweetie?"
"Yep!" She put her hands on her hips. "I've got this!"
"You've got your toothbrush?"
"Yes."
"Pajamas?"
"Yes."
"Clothes for all five days?"
