She stared at the ceiling, when she felt the tingle on her arm. Erin watched as a rose appeared on her arm and a curved "S" appeared above it. Tears filled her eyes and she grabbed her fat, black marker. Tears sliding down her cheeks, she uncapped the marker and placed it on her skin.
A few weeks ago, she never would have done it.
She couldn't take it... the stress, the knowledge, the work, it was all just too much.
Erin stared down at the black "X" on her arm, covering the rose.
The rose was gone the next morning.
