The horse ride was nice, although the dark horse she had been seated on, Festus, kept stopping to look at - and eat - plants. Now, she had to live with the consequences as she sat down for dinner: a sore pelvis. Dear god, her bones hurt.
She looked around the table. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight... "Where are Matt and Ryan?" They might not have thought she noticed, but she definitely saw the way Erin and Zach exchanged glances.
"Matt took Ryan back to the room because he wasn't feeling well," Erin said, eyes trained on her burger as she took another bite.
"Right."
She didn't hear what Maggie said, but she could see her mouth moving. And Sierra definitely saw Erin smack her across the back of the head.
"Well, thanks for dinner," Sierra smiled at Sebastian.
A series of thank yous echoed around the table.
He nodded his head. "No problem."
