She woke up alone in a bed that was not hers. When she got back to the room, Jake gave her some medicine for what felt like a fever. Then they watched random youtube videos until she cracked a smile. Then she pretended that Sierra didn't exist.
She rubbed her eyes and slid out of the bed, making her way into the main room. The boys had agreed to give her one of the beds because she was somewhat sick and going through "issues."
Matt and Ryan were squeezed onto the couch, sleeping soundly like the rocks they were.
Erin pulled her bag to her side and took out her sketchbook. It was time to take a break. But then her phone buzzed.
Sierra now
I'm waiting outside

I know you probably don't want to see me but
Sierra 1m
Erin I am so sorry
Erin dropped her phone into the depths of her bag.
Why couldn't Sierra just leave her alone?
Then it buzzed again, and she could see the message clear as day since her phone was still face up.
Sierra now
Look, if you don't want to talk to me after this I'll stop but I want to apologize
Erin stared at the device. She'll... stop?
She took in a deep breath and took the seven steps needed to get to the door.
Swallowing back all her doubts, she put her hand on the door handle and pulled it open.
