Toshinori POV (3rd POV)

Opening his eyes, he looked around. Immediately, the blood pounded in his ears. His heart thudded in her chest. His hands shook. His feet tingled. His vision disfigured as if he were looking through a fish-eye lens.

"Where is Hana!" Toshinori yelled panicking as he looked around. In his mind, he couldn't believe that it happened again. Hana has disappeared from him again and who knows where she would be now.

"Calm down Toshinori," Gran Torino said, "She is upstairs."

That was something that made him calm down immediately. He was relieved to hear that she didn't slip from him once more...but it also brought back the last words she said before he lost consciousness.

"I still can't believe she said no..." Toshinori said while looking towards his best friend, Tsukauchi and his mentor, "What did I do wrong?"

"Well," Tsukauchi started, "I mean it is Hana we are talking about...the best person to ask would be her..."

"Hm," Gran Torino said, "She does have a lot on her plate now that you are quirkless and three children lives are involved."

"Yeah...the embers inside of me have been snuffed out and my children have been revealed to the world," Toshinori began, "The mighty symbol of peace is no more. However, I won't just sit here, there are still some things I still have to take care of."

"Tomura Shiguraki and your family, yes?"

"In terms of Tomura," Tsukauchi said, "the only proof we have of that is what All for One said and it isn't much to go on. The two of you didn't have much interaction, even you were so close to her?"

"No," Gran Torino stated.

"Why not?"

"It happened soon after Shimura's husband was killed," Gran Torino started, "Concerned, she put the child in foster care to shield the youngster from the hero world, kind of like what Hana was doing while allowing you to be the number 1 hero. She told Toshinori and me (A/N: that is how he said it in the script) that she didn't want us having any contact with the kid. If something was to happen to her... "

"and in the end, your promise backfired," Tsukauchi said, "I am sorry to hear that."

"My master gave up her heart so that her family might know a life full of peace...similar to what Hana wanted for our children. She wanted our children to live a peaceful life and still let me have my dream of being the symbol of peace ...I will track Shiguraki down as soon as possible...I'll find him and then-"

"Then what, give him a pat on the head," Gran Torino said, "You're not looking at him like the villain he is anymore, that is dangerous. Must I remind you that he held your daughter captive for three days? No matter his lineage, he is still a criminal."

Those words brought doubt into Toshinori's self.

"Tsukauchi and I will focus on the league and Shiguraki without you for now," Gran Torino said, "You stay at UA since you have many responsibilities there and focus on playing a father role in your children's lives. Even though you cannot be the symbol of peace that you once were, do not forget that All Might is still alive."

"Yeah..." Toshinori stated, "Where is Hana right now?"

"She is currently resting from her head injuries," Tsukauchi relayed from the Nurse's information, " Also, Serah is resting beside her, I believe they are in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit one floor above."

Toshinori lifted himself from the bed and went to walk out of the room. He needed to see her and hear from her why she declined his marriage request.

He pushed through the elevator doors of the floor to see the floor bustling with nurses. The hospital floor held all the usual scenery: rooms lining featureless walls, carts full of foreign devices and competent looking nurses ready to help whatever the need be but through the masses, he was able to see the one person he wanted to see holding their beautiful child's hand while focusing on something through a window in front of her.

He was hesitant to approach her, considering that when he did just that she went into a coma. But even though his mind felt fear, his heart perseveres and pushes through.

Every step he took towards her, took a toll on him. His doubts seemed to grow with every step he took.

"Hana..." Toshinori said.

Hana's POV

"Glad to hear you are doing well Toshinori," I said not peeling my eyes off of the window.

"Yeah, h-how are you doing?" Toshinori asked.

But I didn't answer him. I was simply focused on the object in front of me. He soon turned his head towards what I was looking at to see two tiny newborn babies breathing through an oxygen mask. The infants were wriggling in the arms of the case that held them, blue eyes scrunched up, and little arms and legs waving about wildly.

"A-Are those our-"

"Yes, they are," I replied.

Toshinori and I had our full attention focused on the little bundle of joy in front of us as they were quickly wrapped up in a previously prepared blanket, respective of their gender. That is what caused Toshinori to gasp.

"Two boys," Toshinori muttered. I, however, was completely out of it, with eyes for nothing but my children, and I didn't even hear Toshinori's shocked statement. Unfortunate for him, he didn't know that the mask was on them due to a complication with breathing. Then again with the stress her body exhumed, she gave birth to them prematurely.

"H-hana," Serah said while squeezing my hand as I turned my head down towards her to see her looking up at me with those doleful blue eyes and tears welling up at the corner, "Will they be okay?"

"I hope so," Hana muttered as she turned her head back towards the children.

Toshinori was starting into one of his children's eyes, identical in color to his own, "They are so beautiful..."

Seeing the person who was once the most adored hero and symbol of peace blushing at the sight of two children and acting as if he was a kid in a candy store brought a laugh from yourself, to which you were now leaning over the ledge and focused on the children in front of you.

"Why do they have oxygen masks?" Toshinori muttered.

"Because they are premature, they were born with breathing complications. They have weak lungs..but through it all, they both continued to giggle.

On cue, they giggled.

On hearing the sound, we both instantly focused all of our attention on them. The next several minutes were pure bliss; the five of us were altogether at last.

Even though they were in a heart breaking predicament they inherited Toshinori's incredible smile. The infants watched our every move and listened to our every sound and ingrained us into their minds.

"My children...Hana..." Toshinori thought as he looked at the woman he loved holding the determination in her eyes to make sure that the children were okay...in a way giving Toshinori and idea on why she said no.

But that wasn't going to hold him back.
