"I guess with everything that had happened, she would cry her self to sleep," I thought as I looked down at Serah.

The gentle snuffles and rhythmic rise and fall of my chest usually soothed her to sleep. I turned to see the twins in the same state as her. Through these kids, I could relate to the fact that sleep hung like a cloud, and the peace of centuries dwelt in the long avenues and golden pastures.

It was maybe in my presence that they wanted nothing more than to lay down and be enveloped by the warmth of silence. Which was quickly interrupted by the walking skeleton that I had come to fall in love with.

"U-Um hey," Toshinori said out loud.

"Be quiet," I replied while keeping my eyes closed, "They are all asleep."

"Um, sorry," Toshinori said a bit embarrassed as he walked towards my bed and sat at the edge of it a bit downcasted.

"Knowing you so well, I believe you are a bit down from the fact that you are unable to be a pro-hero and protect everyone. Am I right?" I asked.

"Yeah," Toshinori started, "I am officially retired as a pro and it is clear now that my body will not allow me to fight another battle. The last sparks for one for all have left me and my muscle form will not last me for any significant amount of time. On top of all of that, I cannot be your number 1 hero and I can protect you or our children. It is probably why you rejected my proposal and yet-"

He turned his head towards the twin angels sleeping beside your bed while they were breathing through their breathing tubes.

"Yet," he continued, "Your first priority was to ensure our kids' safety and health."

"I guess since we are on the topic," I began, "I did reject your proposal partly because of the kids and the new situation we are in. They are exposed to the world as being the former number one and top pro heroes kids. Since you have lost your quirk, they could be potential targets for strong villains who have grudges against you and because  you wouldn't be able to do anything about it, they can take action."

Telling him this, I was able to see the darkness that permeated his very being.

"Also, I didn't accept your proposal because I don't believe that we are ready to go forward in that step," I mumbled, "You are going to have to now dedicate your time to protecting Izuku and training him harder than ever since he is the successor of your quirk, to being a great teacher at UA...and if you like, to be a father to these children. All of these are new roads that you will have to take All Might and I don't believe that marriage should be the in cards right now."

"Are you sure you aren't saying this because you consider me weak?" Toshinori asked while gritting his teeth. Honestly, I didn't even know where that was coming from.

"Where are you getting at Toshinori?" I asked stoically while glaring at his figure.

"You know exactly where I am getting at," Toshinori said, "With the tables turned, you are considered to be the number one hero and Endeavor is up there as well."

"Woah," I stated halting his next thought, "Toshinori, I may lack the ability to judge a situation but it sounds like you are jealous of the fact that Endeavor and myself are tied for number one. Do you feel threatened that I might just be with him?"

Just proposing that question I was able to see Toshinori's eyes narrow and clenching his fist tightly causing you to raise an eyebrow at the situation. To think that Endeavor had this effect on Toshinori when it came to me still was astounding but it made me appreciate the love that I had before me.

This man always ran after me when I attempted to run away. This man always pulled me into the light when I tried to hide away from everyone to shield my quirk and very behind. Also, this man is the father of three amazing kids all inheriting that dream smile he so wanted to flash to the world.

"Toshinori," I started, "If I wanted to be with Endeavor, I would have been with him since our Yuuei days."

"What!" Toshinori yelled while glaring at myself until I glared back at him when I felt Serah shift on my chest. I looked down at her to see that she was simply adjusting herself.

"Keep your voice down," I said while soothing Serah back to deeper sleep.

"What do you mean you would have been with him during your Yuuei days!" Toshinori whispered harshly.

"Enji only started to bully me because I rejected him when he asked me out the first day of school," I replied while looking into his eyes to see that they were indeed filling with jealousy, "The bullying got worst when he realized how close you were getting to me. But he lost every chance with ever getting with me the day I fell in love with you...the day you ran after me right after All for One saved me from committing suicide."

This shifted his emotions from jealousy to worry in a moment. He never knew that day he ran after me to supposedly ask me on our first date was the day his arch nemesis actually saved me from ending my life.

"But why did All for One save you that day?" Toshinori asked a bit afraid of the thought of how close All for One was really near you when he knew from his former mentor that he was particularly after you because of your quirk.

"I was going to ask him once I got the chance to visit him and my brother in the top security prison," I said.

"I guess the better question would be, why did you contemplate on taking your life that day?" Toshinori asked.

"Put yourself in my shoes," I said, "You are a girl who has a very powerful quirk but were told by the top heroes of that time to not reveal it for fear of an evildoer with the ability to steal quirks obtain the quirk you have and possibly kill everyone instantly. On top of not being able to use your quirk, you are surrounded by many other people your age with quirks eager to use it against you for sheer entertainment.  It is a lot of baggage for someone who just wanted a simple life."

I guess at that moment he was speechless. I don't know why but it could have possibly been at the idea I was an orphan, or maybe because I had endured so much suffering throughout my childhood, who knows.

"Regardless of the fact," I continued, "Everything is in the past and I can now only focus on the future with our kids lives now exposed to the public due to our reputations."

"So...what are you planning now that All for One is away?"

"Well, I will be returning back home in the peaceful area I was residing in when I was shielding Serah from you once I am released. Also, I have been asked by Principal Nezu to come back at a guidance counselor at UA as well as asked by Bakugo and a certain student you had chosen to be your predecessor before Izuku to help train."

"Wait Bakugo asked you to train him?" Toshinori whispered quite loudly.

"Yeah," I said, "He came in every day since the battle to see Serah and beg me to train him."

"Are you?" Toshinori asked.

"I will," I replied with a small smirk, "Besides, what's a fair rivalry if you are training Izuku and he doesn't have a mentor? Also, he has offered to babysit for me if I need to do something and you are unable to help out."

That brought a small smile on Toshinori's face as he looked into my eyes with those striking blue orbs of his.

"Even though you may believe you are weak, you are going to still need to be number one."
