I landed on the ground and dispelled my hero form. I quickly pulled keys from my pocket and quickly opened the door. I knew I had about 2 hours to do this so I needed to be quick. First, the milk and that was going to be the death of me.
I quickly took off my jacket and top and grabbed the pump.
The amount of milk I made was obscene — upwards of 40 ounces a day, sucked out with a rented industrial pump. I hated that thing. It was cold, efficient, evil. I used to watch it with fascination as it pulled at each of my breasts (I did them both at once for the sake of time), making rhythmic, inhuman swoosh noises. I did not enjoy the sensation of having my nipples mechanically squeezed (though there's something weirdly fascinating about watching the milk shoot out), but I did not hate pumping at all. And because I was such a super-producer, it made me feel somewhat womanly and amazing to see the resulting bottles of breast milk. Also, I knew that it would be enough to hold Toshinori over.
Soon the door bell rang as I called out to the door and it opened.
I turned my attention over to the door and sighed in relief, it was Sansa Tamakawa, my best friend and always pulling through when I needed him most.
"Hey Sansa," I said waving.
"AH!" Sansa screeched, "You could have warned me!"
"Like you never saw boobs before!" I yelled back and then turned my attention back to this pump and changed the bottle.
"I-I-I- m-m-mean," Sansa stuttered as he turned around, "What else needs to be done?"
"I need to pack my clothes and I need you to pick up the twins from daycare," I ordered.
"Yeah, I'll do that," Sansa said as he headed back through the door, "To see you go through such extreme lengths just to prove your love is something Hana, and I am proud of you."
I smiled at him as he walked out the door. Yeah, he was right this was crazy of me. But then again, Love makes you do crazy things, insane things. Things in a million years you'd never see yourself do. But there you are doing them... can't help it.
Soon I closed my eyes to take a breather and quickly opened them back up from what I just witnessed: Toshinori was on his way home with the kids...shit!
I quickly picked up my phone and texted Sansa.
"Out of all days..."
Toshinori POV (3rd POV)
"I thought mommy was going to pick Raion and Ryuu up today?" Serah asked as she looked up at Toshinori as he held her hand while the twins were strapped in their respective carriers: one in front and one behind him.
"Yeah, but I wanted to beat her to the punch because I know that she has been working very hard lately and I wanted to give her a bit of a break," Toshinori said, "So I left work early to help her out."
"O-Oh, okay," Serah said, "Mommy would like that."
"Say Serah," Toshinori asked, "Would you happen to know if mommy is hiding anything from me?"
"Uu-m...no," Serah replied, "Mommy only focused on training techniques with me and helped me with my homework but didn't say anything about you to me and my quirk doesn't allow me to affect mommy...sorry papa."
"It's okay," Toshinori said with a smile as he stopped at the stop light waiting for it to change, "I just thought that she would tell you something about the school festival."
Serah shook her head side to side causing Toshinori to sigh. That would mean that the only person who knew Hana's intentions were Aizawa and he wasn't going to tell him.
The light changed from green to red and the sign soon changed from don't walk to walk. Toshinori grabbed Serah's hand and proceeded to cross the street.
"So you want to tell me all about school today?" Toshinori asked Serah as she began to go on a tangent about school.
Honestly, being quirkless again was something Toshinori knew would happen to him at one point. But having children with a girl his master told him to be with and that he fell in love with, was something rewarding.
Sure, Anyone can become a father. Anyone can make a baby. Anyone can create life. But it takes someone special to shape that life and Hana allowing him to come into their lives after shielding them from him because of his reputation was something he could have never imagined.
Serah pulled out of his hand and ran up to the door of their house. He walked up to the door and inserted his key inside the lock. As he pushed open the door, he was expecting to see Hana in the kitchen preparing dinner for them, hearing the boiling and steaming noises emitting from the pots. Instead, there was nothing. Nothing but a clean kitchen.
"Hana!" Toshinori called out as he quickly changed his shoes into his house slippers and moved around the house. The emptiness engulfed me with bizarre confinement. He moved through the rooms with the twins still in their carriers and noticed that the house was exactly the way that he had left it when he left the house this morning.
Each second, his heart was racing. He didn't know what was rolling through his mind. He stopped and pulled out his phone and attempted to call Hana-straight to voicemail. He texted Izuku to try and call Hana and texted Aizawa to inquire about her whereabouts. She promised not to run away...and here she did it-
a small cry got him out of his thoughts at his youngest child, Ryuu was whining. This was around the time that Ryuu and Raion would eat and considering that their lungs were weak, he knew he needed to act fact so that they can calm down but how would he feed them if the person he was looking for was their food source. He just didn't know what to think.
"Papa!" Serah yelled out as she ran up to him and waved a piece of paper up.
Toshinori grabbed the paper and read it:
Hey Toshinori,
Apologizes for being distant with you but there has been a lot happening between us lately. I don't know what I did to hurt you or to make you upset with me so I took the initiative to step out of the house until the school festival.
I have left instructions on how to heat the babies bottles, when to give them their bottles, how soothe them when cry, and when they should take their medicine. I also left verbal instructions on how you can help Serah train but since you opposed her from training...you probably won't follow that part.
I am not running away, I am only giving us time apart. I will be staying at Aizawa's for the time being. If there is anything that you need help with, please call Sansa. Aizawa has forbid me from contacting you until the school festival so please don't be mad at me if I do not answer your calls.
With Love,
Hana
Toshinori didn't even know how to respond. He wasn't looking at the letter so much as through the letter, like the paper was transparent and he was fascinated by the floorboard. After reading that, Toshinori's eyes were as immobile as the rest of his face, as if news like that was impossible to absorb any faster. He was frozen for maybe three whole seconds before the corners of his mouth resumed their usual softness and his eyes quit staring and he sighed. At least he knew where she was but why was Aizawa controlling every aspect of her life since I asked him to check in on her that day she lied to me and went to the park...
"Just what are you up too?"
