"Are you okay?"
I looked and saw that the same girl that was there in that forestry area. Devina, was it? She tried to attack me after she realized she couldn't get to that boy, Dakota. She crouching was next to me, and before I could respond I took a quick look around the room. It was the same as my room, but with just more beds. There were two bunk beds and one single, and then a little plant by one of the beds. The bunks were on either side of the room, and the single in the center of them both.
The twins were talking about something on top of one of the bunk beds, I couldn't really hear what they were saying. The two had glanced my way a few times but nothing more than a second.
"Hey, look, I'm sorry for back there. My name is Devina, in case you didn't catch it back there." She awkwardly smiled and rubbed the back of her neck with her hand. She then looked like she just completely froze up, then she suddenly grabbed my chin and looked at my cheek, which was still stinging from the hit, and then she looked at the others. "Guys this is getting out of hand, he's already getting physical with her."
"Are you serious?" Concernedly questioned the fiery twin while jumping off the top bunk of his bed, "Tell me your kidding." He put his finger underneath my chin to lift up my head so he could examine how bad the slap was. "That does it, we need to get out before he kills another."
"I-I'm scared what's going on?" The shortest one here, Dakota, ran to the calmer twin, Vale, and hugged him in a panic as Vale lowered himself from the top of the bed.
"Hey, Aiden, can you calm it down, please? We don't want to scare the little one." Vale claimed.
"No, this needs to stop. Tonight. He's only getting worse and worse by the day."
"Aiden is right, we need to put a stop to this." Devina knelt down to the plant and held out her fingers to a leaf. The leaf slowly grew outwards and once she decided that the stem had grown enough she plucked it and twisted it so it became a rubber band. She put her shoulder-length black hair into a small ponytail. "Okay, Hailey, do you know anything about the layout of this building?"
"No? This was really my first time outside of my room..." How would they know anything about the layout? Didn't their eyes get covered too?
"A-are we finally leaving...?" Stammered the young boy.
"Yes, we are. Now everyone grab your blankets and pillows. We'll sleep until it's night. Then we go." Aiden said in a commanding way, taking the lead in the situation.
"Aiden slows down we can't just rush into this. We need to think first." His twin said calmly.
"Think? Are you serious?" Aiden was starting to mad, "Do you really believe that we need to damn think?!" His fingertips started to give off little embers and his eyes turned from that nice blue to a fierce red. Those little embers started to turn into sparks.
"Aiden! Enough of this! Look at what you're doing!" Devina shouted, catching Aiden's attention.
Dakota was crying, holding on tight to Vale, terrified. Aiden looked towards me, and we made eye contact before he looked towards his twin again. The normal blue of his eyes started to fade back in, and the little fires slowly burned out. He was calm again.
Everyone that was in the arena showed completely different personalities now. That power that they had held did not define their personalities. I feel like I was expecting them to be rougher, not the type to be scared. Out there they seemed confident, strong and in power.
"I know you're mad, but you can't act like this...we understand that you're furious about the situation, but you need to calm down," Vale said gently.
