"Hailey, come on, it's time to get up..." A soft voice greeted me as small hands slowly shook me awake.

I slowly opened my eyes and was greatly confused once I saw the stained maroon curtains and a sturdy bed underneath me, but I soon realized what happened the night before. Slowly sitting up, I felt refreshed, that was by far the best night's sleep I had gotten in a while. Dakota's hazel eyes looked at me with excitement, ready to start off the new day in a new place.

"Are the others up?" I asked, my eyes still scanning the environment around us.

"I think so. Come on, I wanna go see the rest of the place!" He enthusiastically gushed, getting out of the bed and pulling me up.

"Alright, alright, I'm coming." I slightly laughed at the small blonde as he tugged on my hand. Slowly, I stood up. My body feeling slightly like I was swaying back and forth on my heels. I walked over to the curtains and pulled them open. In came shining rays of sunlight through the dust-coated windows. Small flecks of dust floated through the air, and I walked towards the shut bedroom door. Who could have shut it?

The moment I opened the door, Dakota ran out from behind me, tackling Vale into a huge good morning hug. "Good morning." My eyes flicked over to Devina, who was flipping into magazines about the apartment and more detail about the area. "Where's Aiden?" I asked, noticing that he wasn't in the living room where everyone else was.

"Well, good morning to you too." The brunette responded, his blue eyes lifted off of Dakota and into my hazel ones. "Aiden is taking a shower, Devina and I have already taken ours. You two are left." He smiled.

Now I've noticed the fresh beige pants and a dark green loose shirt that Vale was wearing, and the slightly stained light grey sweatpants and a blue t-shirt that Devina wore as she sat on the beige recliner intently scanning through more papers about the place. "Good morning Devina." I greeted her, she glanced at me for a moment, then looked back down.

"Ah, I feel so refreshed!" Aiden exclaimed as he exited the bathroom, now dressed in dark blue basketball shorts and a grey t-shirt. "But I'm also hungry..." He added.

"We can go shopping later," Devina told him. "Well, I can go. It's better to take the least amount of us as possible."

"Well, you could always take someone with you, in case something happens. You can't take on everything by yourself, Devina." Vale suggested, "I didn't mean that in an offensive way, you're the oldest one out of all of us and I'm sure you're very much capable of taking care of yourself."

"I agree," I added. This earned a glare from the older female, and I averted my eyes towards the ground, regretting speaking up.

Devina stood up, leaving the papers on the chair. She walked over to the basket and pulled out a red hoodie that was a little too big for her. "I'm just going to go right now, we need food. I'll pick us up some shoes too and see if there's any way we can get our hands on some money. I'll be back soon." Before anyone could say anything, she quickly grabbed a wallet and stuffed some cash inside of it and walked out without saying anything else.

"Well, I guess that we have to trust her..." I mumbled. "Oh, Dakota, would you like to take a shower?" I walked over to the basket and searched through it, finding a pair of bright green pajama pants that were much too long, and a brown t-shirt. "Here, you can change into these after." I handed him the clothes.

"There are some towels that are already in there, it's on the shelf. Just use that to dry off." Aiden added. "If you need help with the heat, I got you." He chuckled.

"Okay, thank you!" Dakota chirped, making the way into the bathroom.

A small smile made its way onto my face, he seemed happy. "So what now?" I asked quietly, turning towards the twins. Aiden thought and gave me a quick smile then walking towards the maroon curtains and making sure that they were shut slightly.
