We've been traveling for about a week now, but honestly, I've lost track and the others keep saying that they have a feeling we are getting close to something, but I don't notice anything. We haven't run into any trouble, but we kept low regardless. Couldn't be too careful. I just have to put my trust in them that they know that we are getting close to something, anything really. Other than that, we've been doing okay on food and water so far. Of course, we have run out, but the guys would just go get some more.

Even though we've only tested it two times, we have all come to the conclusion that I can temporarily borrow another power for a short period of time. Sure enough, the next morning after that I had been able to use Aiden's ability I could no longer activate it and it was in Aiden's control now. Which he had been ecstatic about it, claiming that he didn't feel complete without it. I don't blame him, I don't think I'd be too happy about losing my ability.

Devina and Vale still were taking lead, and Dakota was still always at my side. We didn't run into anyone from the hospital yet, and we were all hoping that it will stay that way. Even though we were confident that if it came down to it then we could put up and fight and escape in one piece, but no matter we still didn't want that. Everyone else seemed to be stressing about getting there, and I was too. But mainly when we get there, how are we gonna find a place to live? We're all still young and we don't have any sort of money.

Dakota seemed to sense my stress and squeezed my hand. "Don't worry Hailey, it'll be okay! I promise!" The small boy beamed.

"I know it will." I squeezed his hand back.

No one was really talking to each other anymore, I figured that since everyone could 'sense' that we're getting close they were more focused on that. All I knew is that I was tired, felt filthy, and wanted to get to wherever we are going quickly. Maybe we will just figure out how to do things when we get there if we even do. We are going to be so out of place, to my knowledge none of us know a thing about how to navigate through a city.

I wonder what it feels like to sense it, at least that's the way they put it. It must be something much more complicated, they've been doing these kinda things for awhile. They knew how to control their abilities on command, while mine just came and went as if they had a mind of their own. Feeling that sensation of power must be great, do they feel the same way when I'm able to activate mine? Numb arms and hands, and especially that whole passing out thing. No one seemed to know what was going on so I assume that they haven't experienced it before.

"Vale, how do you know that we're getting close? I mean, you guys can like sense it right?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Well, it's like a gut feeling if that makes sense. I just know that we are, I'm not quite sure how to describe it. With every step, the feeling gets stronger." The male attempted to explain.

"Oh, so you know what direction we have to go?"

"Yes." He kept his answer short.

The city, does that mean we are going to get there soon. Everyone was tired, and Devina wouldn't let us take a break from it traveling. Her reasoning for this was that she wanted us to get there as soon as possible. I understood where she was coming from, we all wanted to get there soon. However, at the same time, we were all exhausted. No matter what the Devina may have convinced me, worries still flood my mind about when we get there.

I looked up at the sun, it was right above our heads. I grabbed my hair in my hands and realized how knotted and long it was. A mess. Trying to untangle it I pulled on knots trying to separate the strands, I got a little work done on it. When I had met them -for what I thought was the first time- the woman used a brush and it easily untangled it. One of those would be really useful right now. Dakota tugged on my hand and motioned for me to get on his level.
