I tired, I tired everything to impress him. I just couldn't. Tears streamed down my face as I looked st myself in the mirror and fixed my tie. "But I married him first." I whispered to myself. I sighed. "Kelly's gonna be there." I said smiling. That's who I needed right now I needed Kelly. I left because that's who i needed to see. I walked into Brads house and my eyes immediately locked with Kelly's he walked up to me and pulled me outside.

"How have you been?" He asked and I smiled.

"Good, how bout you."

"Good, and there's no reason to lie to me. Next time before you cut yourself call me ok? I'm still here for you. If I have to I'll fly in for you, your my best friend John."

"Thanks." I said. We didn't say anything for a while.

"How you been holding up today?" He asked and I nodded my head no. "You wanna talk about it?" He asked.

"I loved him first Kelly!" I cried as I burst into the tears I had been trying to hold back all morning. "I laughed with him first, I kissed him first, I married him first. He should be mine Kelly not hers." I cried.

"I know, I don't get it just as much as you do. I know y'all should be together. Your goals opposites and that's what's perfect about y'all."

"I don't wanna talk about us Kelly, I miss him so much every day."

"I know John. You wanna come over to my room after to talk about it."

"Yeah." I said wiping my eyes. He nodded.

"Let's Go in, we should be leaving soon." I nodded ok. We walked in and Bradley walked up to me.

"Hey!" He said. I took a deep breath in and turned to face him.

"Hey!" I said smiling. "How you been today? You excited?"

"Yeah." He said.

"You look ni..." I stopped. He was wearing the same suit that he was wearing when I asked him to marry me. "Nice." I said and he smiled.

"You to." He said.

"Thank you. Anyways you excited?"

"Yeah." He said smiling. I nodded. We talked for a while. Finally we started to laugh. It was just like old times. "Oh shit!" He said still catching his breath. "We have to leave." I nodded.

"You wanna ride with me?" Kelly asked me. I was about to say yes when Bradley interrupted.

"He's already riding with me, he can ride with you on the way to the reception." He said and I nodded. Kelly agreed and he gave me a soft smile before I walked out with Bradley. We got in the car and didn't say anything.

"Bradley." I whispered and he looked at me. "I swore I wasn't gonna cry today but here I am. I'm about to cry like a baby."  He chuckled and I smiled. "I just wanna remind you that I'm always here for you Bradley do you ever need anything. Anything at all let me know. Ok?"

"Ok." He said and I sighed.

"Bradley I laughed with you first, I kissed you first, I told you I liked you first, I married you first. Bradley I loved you first, please never forget that. Never forget the five years we had together. I hope you and Melissa have wat more that five happy years, but don't forget ours. Ok?"

"Ok." He said. He put his hand over him and intertwined our fingers. He squeezed his hand. "This is Harder for me that you'll ever know." He said. "But we've both moved on. I know we both have you've been doing fine, well besides today but even I've been a mess today." It went silent. "It's just hard sometimes John." He cried. "It's hard to not have you with me 24/7 it's hard to not wake up with you beside me. It's hard not having you in my life, even when we did fight I still loved you." He took an unsteady breath in and wiped his eyes.
