Author's POV

Olivia got home late that night. Noah was still asleep when she got home, so she carried him upstairs and put him in his bed.

She wasn't really herself, but she decided to call Casey.

Phone call

"Olivia?"

"Hi, I'm sorry if I woke you."

"Nono it's okay. Is evrything okay?"

"Uhmm... Not really.. You know that Noah is a dream come true for me right?"

"Yeah I know. Has anything happened to him?"

"Oh no. It's just.. I wish to be there for him always, and be a really good mother. And I'm scared. What if I won't be able to to that? What if I won't be able to watch out for him always?"

"Liv. What are you talking about?! Why wouldn't you be?"

"I went to the doctor today.."

"And?"

"Casey, I've got cancer."

"What do mean you got cancer? Is this a bad joke or something?"

"No Casey. I have cancer. Not the easily treatable kind. I'm being hospitilized tomorrow, and they'll put me on kemo."

"Oh my God Liv!"

"I didn't mean to worry you, I just had to tell you. You're my best friend."

"Liv I'm coming over!"

"You don't have too."

"Blabla, I'm on my way!"

15 minutes later Casey was at the door.

"Damn Casey, it's a 30minite drive from your place, how did you get here so fast?!" Oliva asked.

"Uh.. Let's just say that if the police saw how I was driving, I would loose my drivers licence without a doubt!" She breathed out. Olivia just laughed and shook her head.

"How are you feeling?" Casey asked carefully.

"Like normal I guess. Except I just learned I have cancer.."

"How did you even find out?" "It was actually because of the dress I wore at your wedding. It was tight around my breasts, and it annoyed me, and when I got home I noticed this bump next to my breast.."

"Aww sweetie." Casey said hugging her tight, trying to stop the tears from escaping her eyes..
